Ive not checked but im sure they'll just be like the songs from the "shop" in game, so they can be played in Career mode as well, but obviously that will limit those that dont buy them to get a top career score.

They are over priced though, but going to buy one pack for Ace of Spades and Bark at the Moon.

Clever bastards, leave out online play so leaderboards are the only way to compete on live, then overcharge for the songs needed to truely compete.../cynic

Not really fussed about tracks I like, I'm enjoying all the **** ones too! I shall be purchasing all the packs they release, the more GH2 I have to jam with the better!

Far too much, Guitar Hero for the PS2 is like 20 quid these days and they expect people to pay 500 points for three songs... Not to mention you could just download Frets on Fire, use the guitar and play pretty much any song you ever wanted to.

Well, anyway have had this for 24 hrs and and having never played GH before, have really loved it. Intially everything seemed way too hard, but with time it's coming together.
Have just made the leap from easy to medium and wow. Got my ass handed to me on "Heart Shaped Box"

More work needed. And I have a bad case of Guitar Hero Hand Syndrome. Ouch.

Dear Activision/RedOctance/Harmonix

Please GTFO, having downloaded pack1 for the rip of price of 500MS points (which really didn't grate until i got in to play them). They've not even put the effort we remixing the button order to work within GH2 difficulty setting, and thus Meduim is setting in GH2 doesn't use the 4 button. I can only expect Hard to using 4 buttons at slow speed(like GH1).

so at the moe
GH2 downloadable songs
Meduim GH2 is Easy GH1(only 3 buttons used, very slow)
Hard GH2 is Meduim GH1(4 buttons, normal speed)

I thought it was the same as GH2...

Meduim uses 4 buttons on gh2 cant remeber about gh1.

Got this eventually today! Its absolutely mental. I LOVE it. Played it for 3-4 hours with my mate this afternoon, so much fun. Started on easy and was even struggling with some of them, and even failed one! Cant remember the song but it had a difficult start and I just never recovered! But I got the achievement for it!

Almost finish all the songs on Easy I think, so it'll be good to start on Medium soon and see how hard it gets. Medium will be 4 buttons then yes?

This post completely confuses me.

GH1 on PS2

Easy - 3 buttons
Medium - 4 buttons
Hard - 5 buttons
Expert - 5 buttons + faster

Although it's harder than the original, GH2 is exactly the same in terms of buttons used for each difficulty. I'm confused

MEDIUM on GH2 when playing a DOWNLOADABLE SONG = 3 buttons, slow pace(same as easy on GH1).
HARD on GH2 when playing a DOWNLOADABLE SONG = 4 button, normal pace(same as Medium on GH1).

Instead of reworking the button work to fit with Meduim GH2 = 4 buttons, normal pace, Hard GH2 5 buttons fast pace.

That's the bit I don't understand, there is no reworking required, if anything the DLC is reworked by the sounds of it.....
