I would be careful using this car online - Turn10 have already stated on their site that they will be carefully monitoring paint jobs and bans will be issued for any which are deemed inoppropiate (not just from the game but from Live altogether)

Tried playing the demo again and it works fine, but the main game still wont do it.

I even signed in under another profile to try that from scratch but nothing.

So it seems like its maybe a bug in the game or something. I'll need to try it on someone elses 360 to be sure.


On further inspection, when in a race now, everything is flipped round so all text reads backwards etc!! I just started another race to try and noticed all the signs were facing the wrong way, went into photo mode and had a look about and everything was back to front, even the cars, the logos on the cars, all decals. EVERYTHING. Even when trying to navigate around in photo mode, pushing left turns the camera to the right, etc.

What the hell is going on, this is a major major bug!!

Yup, and to browse the hot races, true skill and time trial leaderboards. I assumed it was the servers being slow.

Have you tried clearing your 360's cache? Press Y on your HD in the memory section of the system blade and then press X,X,Left Bumper, Right Bumper, X,X. It might help.

As far as I know it wipes out downloaded game content which means you may have to redownload paid-for content again, so be careful.

I've given up for the night after hours of trying but I'll give that a go tomorrow after work. Cheers. Dont reckon it'll work though as it doesn't seem a likely solution for such an odd problem.

This game is the best ever. I went on the auction house and was well chuffed to win an E-Type Jag fairly cheaply. I got into a bidding war over a pink Beetle with flowers all over it and "penis" written across the bonnet. I only wanted it coz is was cheap though. VP - you can look at the paint job before bidding you know?

I think thats because its gravel, when you hit gravel in real life it slows you down very quickly indeed.

I love this game though, it is abolutley awesome. The cars feel so different for each other and right, plus i have that feeling of ownership where i really love certain cars which i don't remember having since the first GT. The modifications are amazinf as well, there so much choice and its great that the parts are those from proper manufacturers, plus the wheel selection is great with companies like Works on there.

The only thing i could complain about is that there is too much to do and no real clear path, but thats the way with these sorts of games, its up to you.

heheh, that "congrats" message is top!

Stop cutting corners! Unless it's when you slide off, in which case you need to take the shortest distance back to the track. The idea is to make sure the online rankings are fair. In PGR2, there were some obscene times on some of the tracks because of people cutting corners across the grass. e.g. the ring. Oh yeah, and it happens more on gravel than grass, although I think there are some grass sections that do it too - can't be sure though.

If you get to level 15 quickly, after that you can enter the later races which give you far more credits, e.g. 8000-15000 for a not too difficult win (in champion mode). I'm still plugging away at the early stages though - trying to finish everything in career mode, which I never managed in Forza before moving to online racing exclusively.

WEYHEY Its working!!!

You'll never guess what was wrong, for some mad unknown reason the multiple screen option was set to on. So this somehow flipped my screen back to front and didnt allow me to control the cars. But I quickly set if off, rebooted the 360 and all was well. Noticed this late last night before going to bed. So missed like 4-5 hours play time last night. Was really gutted. And I wont get a chance to get stuck right in to this again til Sunday night if even then!

Not too impressed so far, but only done a few cups to be faur.

Played this loads last night, had a race on the the 'ring and got tapped from behind, and my car ended up launching about 400 feet in the air. Now, I know that Elises are light, but they're not that light.
