Is the chili the ****test of the derby cars ? That's gotta be mean - but one of the things I think makes this game is you don't have to win every single race - indeed in some 5/6 race series I've finished a few times in 4th/6th place in a couple of the races and still managed to win the thing

has anyone managed to complete all Derby Golds in an ungraded Chili? its HARD!

Yep got the achievement this morning and yes it is hard, the second cup on level 3 races was a tw@t, i did it by 1 point after many restarts.

I've done all stunts getting golds apart from the stone skipping, i just can't get the hang of it at all, my bro got 988 just 12m away.

The stone-skipping is all in the first bounce - I dunno how but a mate of mine was round and his first bounce nearly every time absolutely launched him - Mine were **** by comparison - Think you need to hit the button >just< as your ragdoll is about to touch the water - I think it may also have something to do with the way your ragdoll is facing but I dunno.

20 degrees or thereabouts seems to be the golden number Props for golding the rest - that football one is a dirty bast ><

Yeah not having to win all the races helps but when your main rival is always leading the race on the 2nd cup level 3 it's hard as you have to nick one win & then try your best for 2nd's and hope your rival gets one bad finish.

The AI also ram the crap out of you and it's so unfair seeing as you are in a stock chilli car that you can run faster than.

It's the same in the finals group of races - unlike the rest it seems to pick 1/2 racers who race like **** off a stick and are very hard to catch. Most annoying

Finally golded all the carnage mode. what. a. bast. it literally had me screaming at the tv. Those bomb races are the devil and the carnage race where you had to get 100k took me like 4 hours.

Carnage mode medals do seem quite unbalanced, some you can get gold on in minutes yet others see way out of reach. Almost.

I've not played this for about 10 days now but will get back into it soon.

Got this a few days ago, Game's amazing

Just started the Race class but decided drop back down to Derby & go for the Chilli car achievment. Just got the final tournament to do.

Had a great race earlier on the city course with the mall & a tunnel just before the finish line.

I was in the Chilli and had managed to get up to second over the first 3 laps & was now right behind Lei Bing with a couple of corners left. Managed to overtake just before the tunnel & it should have been all over.
Someone must have totaled on the previous lap though & there was a burnt out wreck right across the tunnel exit. I hit it head on launching my car in the air only to land on Bings roof & have her drive to the finish line with my car hanging off the top of hers.
Still got the win though as i hanging off the front end

Wish there was the option to save the replays!

Picked this up on Friday, it's a great little game

The 15 derby wins achievement - is that 15 demo derbys in the single race mode and do you have to be top of the leaderboard or just survive.

And how the hell do you get the insane air achievement, tried every jump I have found so far and zip

it is a great title but i echo the views that the difficulty/AI is a little screwed as you progress to the later race classes where 1 or 2 riders fly off every time and need you to be pretty perfect.

don't know if its intended to turn it from more of a stock car race to a pure racing line type of event but it jars a little.

Hey does anyone know any codes for the "enter code" option in the extras bit? I wouldn't mind unlocking some better cars without earning them!! heh heh

Apparently if you nitro off the ramp that goes up the side of the building, on the Canal 1 track, then you can get it there.

I honestly don't know if I'm playing the same game as you guys! The game itself could be great but it's the most frustratingly unfair racing game I've ever played.

I'll admit, I'm not the best at racing games but I still haven't managed to place even 3rd in the first cup, in either race.

I was 3rd then I got stuck to someones bumper and went back to 12th.

Honestly, I don't know what I'm doing wrong but it's so frustrating, I know there's a good fun game in there but I can't find it amongst the sticky cars, and completely unfair AI.
