Holding down gives backspin but it doesn't spin back all the time, you need a character with a high spin modifier and a high shot really.

Blue trail backspin does spin back with the shot clubs and stops pretty quickly with the longer ones

Another question Can you back the gamesave up at all ? My PS3 is getting swapped on tuesday and i would like to backit up if poss ? When i go on the save file there is no option, does the PS3 backup util back up games saves ?

It does back them up but the MNG save file is not transferable due to having online saves in it (this is going to happen for all saves that have online profiles)

Clubs, I believe, are only usable by each rank of players when you get them. You should notice your selection of clubs and balls change as you highlight the three ranks.

Does anyone know what it says when you sometimes level a character up, I've noticed it says 10% amongst the text, but I don't know what it relates to.
I would assume it is the stats go up 10%, but I don't notice any difference in the stats before or after.

Guys, do you open up the new courses through the challenge mode or is there a seperate stroke play mode to open them?

It's all through the challenge mode by getting the membership cards.

doodle, from what I saw, it makes certain things go up - not sure they are stats as such. I think the first one means your putts have a better chance of spiralling etc.

I can't seem to create any messages in the lobby. I use the second option which brings up the keypad, but when I finish a warning comes up in japanese

That 2nd option is to search for other players online. If you find them you can click again to join their lobby.

Maxed out Maruyama's loyality last night and got his jazzy 6th look. Started to use the second character from the left on the bottom row now. Slowly clearing all of Tier 8 before doing anymore of Tier 9
