I'm definitely picking this up when it gets a US release, hopefully there won't be any cross-region restrictions for the online component.

Because text chat is the main thing online we’re planning to keep Japan as Japan, North America as North America and Europe as Europe. Maybe we can put the US and Europe together.

European is nearer, and the changes to Everybody's Golf are less offensive that to Hot Shots Golf for no 4.

I have the JP version but I'll get the UK version as well...depending on how badly they've localised it this time.

Try to remember that people on here who have the JP version may have had it for months and might well be fed up of playing it online by launch anyway.

Thanks for the heads up. I did order the JP version, but there were some problems with the transaction so I've cancelled it now. EU version is due fairly soon so I think I'll pick that up.
