So was this a turd then or not from peoples playing?

The game was fine, it had fairly obvious problems with the motion controls when you needed to be precise and the lock on was crap too.

They resolved both of those problems in the update it seems. It is pretty much Rogue Squadron though, or it will be wit the analogue controls so it really depends on how you felt about that.

You can pick it up for a few quid now so it's worth giving a go.

Does the dragon pack and new controls not work with the pal version? or does europe have to wait for a pal update for the game?

PAL versions can still download the update today as that's available via the game itself. You have to wait for tomorrow before the dragon pack goes live on the UK store

What's it like with analog control?

It's actually pretty good, the one problem I have with the new update is that if you have the crosshair enabled you can't use lock-on anymore
