Okay I'm managing normal, to an extent, I tried Heroic and got killed alot, is there any hope for me ever completing Legendary? are there people that continuously try, no matter how many hundreds of times they get killed to complete the hardest difficulty?
Also is the main game alot easier in Co-op? if it is, i'll try legendary with a mate/someone online sometime to complete it.

OK people, I'm going back in...
Just me and that bloody level. If you PM me or invite me I'll be too busy with the running and the screaming and the jumping and the dying to reply!
Two men enter...one man leaves! Well OK, one man and one level but you know what I mean.
There will be swearing like man has never heard before and may never hear again.
We will swear at them on the beaches etc, etc...
PLAN A - Run, jump, runnity, jumpity, runnity, jump, jump...
PLAN B - Jumpity, run, run, jump, runnity, jumpity, run, jump, run...

what the bloody hell was the crack with that big blue/white flash off that planet the chief and cortanna were drifting past!?!?was that his dying? was it totally irrelevant? meh
Anyway... great game!
I think that one cutscene was the whole reason the video calibration tool came with the CE and LE versions of the game, look more carefully next tim and you'll see the planet is actually covered in metal! Planet Cybertron!

everyone dies alot on heroic and legendary, the thing is that unlike alot of games the Halo series is generaly fair (despite the odd friendly A.I mess up). So its all doable and highly satisfying.
As for the person who said this has a worse campaign than Halo 2.... what are you smoking? thats all I want to know.
Edit: I have to admit though, the bit with the two scarabs is a pain on the higher diffuculties and really requires more luck than judgement. Besides that though my biggest tip would be that the game is all about decsions.... if that makes sense... mainly concerning weapons. I was stuck on one bit of level 3 for ages on heroic till i realised there was a box full of battle rifles next to me.Last edited by rmoxon; 30-09-2007, 23:06.

For me level 2 was the low point due to it's abysmal visuals and repetetive gameplay. Yellow corridors seemingly forever. I also thought the 2nd half of the last level was dull, again due to awful graphics and boring repetetive gameplay. Yes it'a an homage of sorts to Halo 1, but it was so wide open and barren and also so ridiculously easy (Halo 1 at least put up a challenge there on Heroic and Legendary) it just wasn't any fun and a poor conclusion to the game.
That aside, I watched the documentaries on the 2nd disc tonight and found them pretty soulless and boring. Nowhere near as good as the susprisigly honest docu that came with Halo 2. The crunch docu was probably the best, as the rest were really just Bungie saying 'look how great we are', when the actual tech and art in the finished game is far from top tier.
Still a thoroughly entertaining game though, one of the best this year. (but not I feel, in the same league as Bioshock)
