The Orange Box (PC/PS3/360)

Looks gorgeous in those screenshots and having not touched the series since playing the PC original in '98, I really can't wait to discover why Half Life 2 is so critically acclaimed. Out of curiosity, roughly how long will it take to complete the game and both episodes?

Gametrailers video review said that HL2 is roughly 15 hours and each episode about 4 hours.

Might be them talking bobbins though.

That's fair, Ep2 is slightly longer than the first. If you haven't played Half Life you're in for a treat. Take your time, it's just set piece after set piece, brilliant stuff.

nahhh thats the 360 version. Arrived this morning. Looks lovely and very smooth.

Game looks a lot sharper in Hi-def. My room was very dark and I never used flash. Should realy get a tripod.

Half Life is just begging for a photo mode like Halo has.

I would kill for Team Fortress to have that functionality - it's like watching a cartoon most of the time !!!

I'm glad something important interupted my original HL2 playthrough way back when... now I can do it properly... with all the extras gubbins.

Portal is the best game I've played in yonks- short but oh so SO sweet. Team Fortress should be amazing when we can play some non-laggy players too.

I was interested purely to see how it looked on the 360 to be honest. Xbox port my arse.

Those screens of HL2 look much better than I was expecting and much better than I remember on the PC tbh. I guess that was down to my average graphics card, but those pics really look stunning for a console game.

I got my PA Asian copy of Orange Box, anyone else having troubles when loading Portal?

It seems to freeze during load. Everything else is okay. :/

I have only played the first few levels of portal and about 30 mins into half life 2 and all has been well. Loads alot faster than I was expecting too.

Oh good ****, those shots posted looks gorgeous, was still a bit edgy on how this would look but they look amazing! Better than I remember two years ago!

As long as this is here for Friday on my day off I'll be over the moon.
