Played a fair bit tonight as well. Tried bass out for the first time and seems harder to score well than guitar, the multiplier goes up to 6(12 with overdrive activated) instead of 4 meaning that it's more important that you keep your combo going as your multiplier takes longer to max out. Some sort of groove gauge is activated when you string long combos together although I'm not sure if it actually increases your score. Some bass charts are as fun as guitar NIB & Run to the Hills springs to mind and yes I shot at my TV with my fake plastic bass Steve Harris style.

I also have to point out how ****ing great Foreplay/Long Time by Boston is.

This game is just awesome. Haven't really had time to play guitar or even bother with singing the drums are just fantastic.

Are the DLC Bowie covers good?

I downloaded Heroes , just to see what they were like at a ?1, and its pretty good, if id known it was a nice cover i would have bought the whole Bowie pack, so for me heroes is certainly a good cover cant comment on the other 2 songs though.

The more I play of the guitar parts the more I think that this could actually be considered harder at times.

For example, I'm playing on expert and hard intermittently and on hard I'm not too troubled on the easier songs (same as GH3) but on expert, songs like Creep...easy as pie until the rapid sections and then because this game requires you to be SO much more accurate (seriously, GH3 compared to this lets you hit notes when you've finished the song there's such a gap between the accuracy levels required) I really struggle on those sections!

Just been playing the tour mode with my wife (I'm on drums, she's on guitar) and it's actually quite a deep game in that mode, lots to do! She just spent 10-20 minutes getting a tattoo and customising her wardrobe etc.

Still can't find a fault with this game, not a single one.

Oy what you doing with Rockband m8 you dont want that send it back Sorry Ive been ill from weekend glad you got it. I find this much harder than GH series on guitar as its got more acute accuracy for strumming.

Look's like my whammy broke. It feel's ok but nothing happens in the game. Any idea if I can fix it myself? I found some people who had a broken string but that's not the case here.

Yes , i just put my self down as living in beverly hills, i wish, and used a mastercard and it just comes through on the statement as the USA playstation network, i can see why some CC companys would call it fraud, but hey im still paying sony, but my mastercard is the only one that gets through , i cant use my Visa

It only works if you registered the MC before Sony started fart-arsing about with PSN and using non-US MC.

Only had about 30mins but the drums feel more like hitting a bit of plastic more than playing proper drums.

Really like the guitar though. Better than GH ones IMHO.
