Can you turn the original vocals off like in the first game?

No, they confirmed it won't be happening a while back.

It seems that the record companies aren't happy about removing the vocals. They did it before but found that it just took to long to get the license and ended up being far too expensive to keep doing.

I suppose they could do something along the lines of GuitarHero and get some no names to re-record them...sort of defeats the purpose of licensed tracks though.

Been phoning around a few shops and only a few have the solus pack, some only have the pack with mics so you might want to get in there quick if you already have the mics from previous games.

EDIT: Also, Asda have the solus pack for £17.99

Not yet but "Fix You" is the full version and good fun to sing.

I'm pretty sure there will be some soon though.

The DLC in this is gonna cost me a fortune, it really is. I'm hugely impressed with it's integration as well, just buy it and it downloads straight into the game (as it should I guess) and when it's finished your library updates.

Not found a duff song yet though I'm not likely to try ****e like "Toxic" any time soon

Loving the medleys as well and the "short" versions of songs, where it just pays up to the end of the first chorus. Not sure of the point but it is a nice inclusion.

Of course this is my first singstar game so I don't know if these features are new or not.

Only downloaded Final Countdown for now but am rather impressed how it all integrates together

lol..can't believe I am absoutely lovin this, but would there be a reason why I cannot get into the store from my HK machine (using a US profile). I did wonder if it was the profile but surely the game determines the singstore connection?

Has anyone watched Aldric (and his partner) on the Singstar community? I think they're Indonesian from their flag. Funny vids of him dancing and singing to Europe's Final Countdown and Britney Spod's Toxic. Plus a Pass the Dutchie solo. The online features of this game are top. Very well presented.

well I've tried everything and it looks like you cannot use a US profile to get on the singstar store (as US game isn't out til feb) so beware. I've already uploaded stuff but will have to start again with a UK profile
One of my first vids got into the top few pages of top rated (I was singing Scissor Sisters with a leopard skin coat on) and lovin it.

Yeah i couldnt get the store up on either of my other accounts, it is mint fun though and the timing of the release is spot on xmas partys etc.
