Singstar PS3

I cant get online though I get some error message everytime I try to log into the online bit (I hope to god its not region protected as Im on a JPN machine and tried it with UK account).

I'm on a UK PS3 and the online is very temperamental at the moment, couldn't connect this evening with it.

And yes there are 2 depeche mode songs at the moment on singstore 'enjoy the silence' and another one. I'm waiting for 'Just can't get enough' to appear myself!

Singstar PS3 failed to even chart on latest UK TOP-40. But I wouldn't honestly worry considering that this is something that has been planned to have a very long lifetime, and Singstar Store itself is long-term investment.

It hasn't even been out a week yet! It only came out on Friday...

Play claims it is 11th (with mics) and 13th (without) out of all PS3 games.

Singstar PS2 is very popular, but with the (predominently female I'd guess) audience who bought PS2s when they were cheap. I'd guess that the Singstar audience hasn't bought PS3s yet.

This is certainly the first PS3 game my wife will want to play.

Well its up again then it was down again I got to store just now went omg added 11 songs already and then it went and started to load and load and load. Depeche Mode Enjoy the Silence is my all time fav song but Im suprised how many oldies their is can see me spending a bloody fortune on this game, also Sing to buy gimmieeeee

But it was still out on the last day of the chart. And you don't need big software numbers at all to get into TOP-40. I don't know specific numbers, but at the bottom, sales are counted in thousands, on quiet season numbers can go so low as hundreds.

Welll good news is the onlines back up properly yeaa

Had a right ball ache credit card got refused AGAIN so had to phone my bank up AGAIN and unblock it (every flaming time I buy on Live or PSN I get it blocked) so had to then go and add 15 songs to basket AGAIN then it kicked me out AGAIN so had to do all 15 AGAIN then go searching for the other 5 AGAIN because theirs a 15 track limit then I couldnt download them afterwards so had to reload yet flaming AGAIN add the other 5 for the final time and download them finally.

£20 puuunnd spent and boy was it like pulling teeth. Hope they get this system sorted as your stuffed to download on Singstar only (cant go to PSN and redownload either as Ive just checked) as it shows theirs been serious overdemand for this game with their server. Just waiting for em to download then I can go screech my balls to Erasure

The bundle with mics was totally sold out in Cheltenham by Sunday. Seems to be stock issues I guess.

I played this a fair bit last night (3hours didnt reliase what time it was and had passed). Servers still seem borked though as couldnt upload a single profile picture, snapshot or video just kept failing as each one finished

Christ the servers are just borked, i mean its 8am and i cant even sing in. Its not as if there is going to be thousands hamering the servers this time in the morning.

I believe the bundled mics are identical to the PS2 ones. I hope so as I've bought just the game only version for the kids for Christmas. I paid £17.99 from Play but I think it's that price in store at Asda too.

The PS2 mics definitely work. I got the game on it's own from ASDA for ?17.71. Weird price but who cares?
