Is this "sim" as in the way everyone said DC F355 was sim? i.e. not sim at all and just top aracde action with a bit of sim thrown in. Or is it sim like Forza?

You tried recharging it again m8 or plugging it into another port and playing with wire? You get a fair bit of force from the ds3 on going over the limit of the tyres and rumble strips etc.. its not huge but its their. Their isnt any options to alter strength its just a default option

Just did my first wet race, very realistic and looked great, tough with the aids turned down though, and in car could see sod all. Really enjoying it

I have mixed feelings now. When everything works, its awesome, and there's no better game this gen for enjoying a few laps of the worlds greatest tracks.

However, the game isn't quite as well put together as first impressions would have you think. As mentioned before, the menu's can be pretty confusing especially the team/car stuff and yesterday I thought it hadn't saved my arcade progress only to realize you have to do each difficulty again for each car. Also, the different game modes are essentialy exactly the same thing.

And the framerate, loading times and online suck.

And the events are too long, and the difficulty curve is all over the place.

And the AI will switch off the racing line for no reason as often as it will block you.

And theres a sound glitch where the engine noise sticks at the start of a race occasionally.

And yet, I can forgive these niggles because theres a great racer under there.

Worst part about the leaderboard is there are only 1622 players..

Hopefullly more will buy this in USA otherwise it doesn'tbode well for fututre on-line support?

They're not exactly the best leaderboards in the world as they should combine the time and the accuracy to give a better picture of how consistant you are.

I'm been holding off this one waiting for the impressions, although on the whole it seems this is not the spiritual successor to F355 Challenge, I've decided to pick it up based on the positive(ish) snippets posted here.
One question for the knowing among you.
Can you use the analogue stick for throttle/brake like wot you can in GTP?

I do so hate the PS3 triggers, they just don't feel right at all imo.

Tried the triggers at the start a la' Forza on the Xbox but was all fingers and thumbs so went to standard GT layout.

As predicted I am undoubtedly propping up the leaderboard, but with 1700+ punters in it I'll not be paging down 170 pages to confirm it.
Anyone seen a way to display yer own position on the leaderboard?
