GT Force I used is the old Initial D PS2 wheel works but none of the buttons are recognised and no obvious way to get them to work. Can play using auto but I was losing 2 seconds per lap. Alternative is to assign a six axis controller as controller no 2 and then place on the top of the wheel using the default R1 & R2 as shifters, works quite well.
My GT Force EX (thought it was an RX), is a dual PS2/PS3 wheel works with all the buttons covered, but it has issues with not centering properly but has always been like that on both my PS2 and PS3, it happens at random and gets annoying and was the reason it was in the loft in the first place, it's gone back there.
For the moment I'm back using the pad for the time being unless I find someone fancies hacking me up a sequential gear shifter out of a spare six axis that I can place to the left of the GT Force for bit more realism.
