That's exactly what I mean and they may just be waiting to announce it anyway. Not really sure if this would be the sort of announcement that they'd consider to be worth anything other than a standard notification to retailers though.
Maybe we'll end up with a download only version to at least reduce the distribution costs for Sony?

It's obviously been answered already, but i figured i would ask again as i'm really interested in this after seeing some of the photos on the previous page. Also the talk on 1upYours makes it sound like a hoot.
So how does the gameplay breakdown then, you just take photos and thats it? Or is it like Endless Ocean, where you live on a boat and get e-mails and such? The thing is if its like the latter, then its going to be in japanese and frustrate me.
So can anyone clear this up for me please?

As far as I understood, it's at least something like Endless Ocean. Boat=base camp, and you still get emails asking you to go out and take pictures of specific animals. The language barrier is why people have been using GameFAQs to work out precisely what they're supposed to be tracking down and where it is.

Me, too, probably, if the rumours are true. I was originally going to take the plunge with the Japanese version (I've got a pretty high tolerance for trial and error and/or using GameFAQs), but I can stand owning Hakuna Matata instead of Afrika if it's actually in a language I can understand.

main menus are all in english, i believe hakuna matata only has one page of english in the instructions that have the basic controls on. you can find this easily enough anyway.Last edited by Fuddle; 30-09-2008, 17:45.
