Shame this doesn't support exporting photos to the XMB. Hopefully they'll patch it in, most of the big first party releases seem to be supporting it now.

Well if this whole print screen function gets implemented in a firmware update then it could be covered by that

It's now in the firmware and SDK as I understand it, but the game itself still needs to be coded to use the functionality. But Pacific Rift and Wipeout HD have it, Resistance patched it in and I would imagine R2 will support it as well - this of all games should get it in a patch at some point.

Along with Youtube support.

I've seen that mentioned elsewhere, so it's probably a known thing. PSN is due to go down this afternoon though, so it might be linked to that.

what a bunch of arse clowns, first they screw up the launch then they take the servers down the day lots of pre-orders start to turn up for people.

dunno why exactly but a lot of my enthuiasm for this has gone with this borked launch.

Well, playing the Beta, the muslim delay and this issue felt kind of anti-climatic to me. The surprise was gone thanks to playing the beta, and the others speak for themselves.

Sony still can't really go out there and get it right like MS can most of the time.
