Bah, I was just playing this with my nephew who's a bit rubbish. I was on hard, he was on easy, and it's screwed up my band record so now I'm classed as medium, four stars whereas before I was had, five stars.

I hate that band record thing! I was cruising on gold stars on my drum playthrough before my yellow pad caved in. I then held off playing until I got a Drum Rocker to replace my old kit, hoping it would get me back on track with working pads, but the cymbals on that drop notes too.

So now I just play Quick Play whilst my Solo World Tour remains on permanent hiatus

People interested in the Papa Roach songs (specifically Last Resort) be warned. Its not the version you would know and love. Its some crazy deformed demo version. Sounds so crap. Im so disapointed as i was so looking forward to it.

It may be too Aussie for some and they may not get the slang, but my fav Ska band is Area 7. There song "Nobody Likes A Bogan" is awesome if you like Ska. If you need to know some slang to understand, let me know

Thats cool. I am having a nostalgic moment and thinking back to my teen years when i was at school and going through all my cherished songs, and thought it needed sharing. Theres so many songs i would love in Rock Band, most of which will never happen as they were only ever really known in small pub circles in Australia, but changed my life forever. Bands like Area 7, One Dollar Short and than overseas bands like New Found Glory, Millencolin and Strung Out.

I have to ask though how do you post YouTube videos? Mine just come up blank.

Since I'm really a processed beats kinda guy playing RB and RB2 has been a real history / education lesson. I wouldn't say it's really changes my taste in music but It has got me more into the heavier side of rock music.

I find a lot of the more thrashy metal stuff in RB2 to have the more interesting drum layouts so they actually turn out to be some of the best stuff to play.

I find it difficult to enjoy playing a song that I don't enjoy listening to. Stuff like Iron Maiden may be amazing to play on expert drums, but all can think of whilst playing it is 'God this songwriting is awful'.

I tend to prefer Rock 'n Roll to just Rock. The 'roll' bit being key. To me rock n roll includes punk, new wave, some alt american stuff and anything that's about the kids getting their kicks. Anything with a whiney guitar solo can bugger off (except for More Than a Feeling which is hilarious and awesome), but generally if it's less than 2 minutes long and about sniffing glue, I'm in.

I need more Blondie, Bolan, Bowie, Costello, Clash, Buzzcocks, Talking Heads, Sonic Youth, Stones, Stooges, Ramones, etc.
