A US copy of Rock Band 1 on the PS3, yes. PAL copy of Rock Band 2 on the 360 though. Why do you ask?

As far as im aware mate,everything i have downloaded from my US account works a treat on my PAL account also.

Ah it must be the discs then! A UK disc won't read US DLC.

Same the other way round mate, my US disc can't read UK DLC. I won't take you up on your kind offer though mate, 'cause I do all my Rock-Banding on the 360 now (I have the Ion drums for the 360 y'see), but out of interest, what song is it for?

Ah it works for 360 or PS3 provided you use the US account, you can choose the song yourself I believe.

I found this out the hard way. Once the UK content went live, I foolishly downloaded a tenner worth of tracks only to find my US disc wouldn't read em. I have since purchased a UK disc (play.com had it on deal of the week last winter) and now it's the other way around, my US content won't work

If anyone wants a drummer on 360 let us know please (Dazzyman) as even though only on medium drums Im always at 99% mark for it and have 90% of the DLC.

Did get a Pear eliminator double pedal last week and roland kd-8 kickpad to go with the kickbox and its work of art now on ions. Very close to moving up to hard I guess.

Has anyone modded their ION kits? Specifically replacing the crappy rubber pads for Mesh heads such as Pintech or Roland?

I've recently purchased an ION kit after having a stock RB2 kit with Goodwoodmod stealth mesh heads and I've been really disappointed in how bad the sensitivity, noise and rebound of the ION kit pads are in comparison.

I've done a bit of soul searching online and found you can replace the heads with Roland MH-8 mesh heads with a bit of modification but just wondered how they stacked up in comparison. I love the ION kit for its flexibility in positioning, cymbals and general build quality (well apart from the bass pedal... ouch) but I really want the best of both worlds and want my Mesh heads back.

Quick question myself - does anyone know if the Rock Band DLC is region free on the 360, rather than region locked as with the PS3 version?

I'm wondering about using a US 360 with UK Live account, not sure if that was possible when it came to Rock Band DLC. As far as I know 360 DLC is region free in almost every case, even when languages and game names change between regions (eg. DDR vs Dancing Stage).

As an aside, I hadn't noticed the cost discrepancy for DLC tracks before now either:

- in the US songs are $1.99 on PS3 or 160 MS points on 360 (equivalent to $2)
- in the UK songs are £0.99 on PS3 or 160 MS points on 360 (equivalent to £1.36)

Looks line running a UK 360 RB set up is pretty pricey compared to the PS3, with songs costing 1/3 more. Is that right? Ouch.

I'm just doing the gig for the sound guy. Sweet Christ this game is evil. I chose hard on drums, assuming that "random song" meant "random song" but no. "Random song" means "all the songs we know you're rubbish at, HAHA!"
