You need the disc to copy the tracks to your harddrive. What happened to your old drive, you should beable to copy from that with the transfer cable?

I have a 20GB with the RB1 imported songs on and a 60GB. I didn't get a transfer cable and i'm sure it doesn't work even if I got one.

Ah well, time to rent RB1

As expected Maiden is my dream Rock band experience. What an awesome pack. Definitely needed Rime of the ancient mariner on there but what a great selection none the less.

Green Day have been announced as the next artist having DLC exclusively for Rock Band now. Unfortunately the first pack will be stuff from their latest album so no Dookie material just yet. There will be more plans for GD DLC later this year.

Not interested in the Maiden DLC. However cant wait for Greenday. And now that Entropay works on US PSN again i have been going a bit nuts catching up on all the kick ass DLC i have missed. I have to say Sweetness by Jimmy Eat World is so awesome. Now we just need some more Bullet and hopefully soon some New Found Glory.

Shame it's new Tap and not classic Tap. Was really excited when I heard the announcement in the week, then saw the tracklist. Couldn't wait to sing Big Bottom, Tonight I'm Gonna Rock You, and all the originals. I'd buy the first album immediately.

Bands are definitely seeing this as a promotional tool (well, unless they're signed for Warner) - get a few tracks off their new albums online asap. Not a bad ploy, they should of course tie it in with some of their classic numbers; 6 pack of songs, 2 or 3 new, 3 or 4 classics to get more sales.

They do seem to have a knack for choosing great DLC. Hope we see some older Tap though.

I'd love some The Auteurs, Light Aircraft on Fire and Unsolved Child Murder maybe, but I'm fairly certain that will never happen

I'm all for more Bad Religion, hopefully it's Them and Us and Ten in 2010 to go alongside All I Want by The Offspring to further the number of Crazy Taxi songs in Rock Band. I'll take Heaven is Falling or anything off Suffer though.

They do. They never dissapoint. This is why after you finish playing CoD, or Gears Of War, You never grow tired of Rock Band. Easily my game of this generation.

And Nisa your right, that would be awesome. Brings back a lot of memories. Only bad thing though about Bad Religion is you gotta be a maathon runner to keep up on the drums, as there so fast!

If HMX keep going with this for years to come, I think there will always be some DLC worth buying every month or two. Game of the generation for sure. I'm beginning to worry about whether we will be able to transfer DLC to next gen machines.

That was always something that i had thought about. Transferring when the new consoles come. I think a lot may have to do with the way PSN and Xbox Live handle their Gamertags. I think it would be fine as the games are just linked to your account when/if the new consoles come, you would just choose to retieve your Gamertag and it would show up in the store? They would probably need to organise something with Sony/MS but im sure it would be fine.
