Rock band 2 xbox 360/ps3

Well i bought this off GAME because instore it is stupidly priced £44.99, i have not bought a game over £40 in ages which was not a special edition, i saw it in HMV for £49.99 :O

question: my RB2 hasnt come yet, was wondering are some of the DLC songs only available on RB2, because i was seeing "Dashboard Confessional - Hands Down" was released but could not find it when i went onto my RB1

Nah makes no difference from RB1 to RB2, as the music is just the same as the marketplace/PS Store. Because RB2 was delayed for PS3 i was buying DLC everyweek from the music store with RB1. And the other week i couldnt find some songs in the PS Store yet they appeared in the Music store on RB1 (didnt have my RB1 disc on me at the time). It must be there somewhere. Great song, it is anyway.

I just downloaded Laid To Rest and Mr Brightside and their both amazing. Only downside is Laid To Rests' breakdown is ruined with editing on the swearing. Shame, but great song otherwise. My DLC on this game is now up to around 180 or something like that. Mixed with 55 RB1 and 84 RB2 and thats a **** load of songs. Love it.

yes its scary when i think how much ive spent on DLC for this ps3 versions, of course it was so much better value this time last year when it was $2 to the pound, each song now cost me about 35p more so im being abit more selective these days, but im up at over 300 downloaded.

Agreed, it's now made it more expensive to download songs from the US store, especially when you factor in the additional Entropay charge on top

Still, the flipside is that it's easier to be more selective now that they're adding a ton of DLC each week rather than just three songs. The quality of DLC seems to have improved massively too in the past couple of months.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I can play any instrument (vocals included) on Expert, but my favoured instrument is Guitar (which I can pass all songs on).

thx, yeah the songs are on marketplace but not in the store for some reason, makes for difficult viewing

Cleared the Malmsteen tracks first try on expert guitar, very fun indeed.

Picked up the AC/DC disc the other week,Thunderstruck is one of my fave songs to play now, love the intro. Some of the songs on the disc are surprisingly difficult on guitar as well, Dirty Deeds solo is easily one of the hardest in the game.

Picked up Rock Band 2 SE on the 360 for $180 inc tax last night - pretty sweet deal I thought. Love it so far, last guitar game I played was GH3 on PS3, this exceeds that by a fair margin!

Just got my gold star and 100% expert drums achievement- regrettably it's on that awful free song charlene something or other. Nevermind I'll just have to keep working towards getting it properly on an actual song :P

They are tricky but they're far from the hardest tracks in the game, it's funny that I've not yet managed to clear High Voltage after 2 attempts. Angus Young solos more difficult than Yngwie Malmsteen's?, whoda thunk it.

Anyone that likes big rock endings will love the AC/DC disc, I think aboout 16 out of the 18 songs have them.

Im dying to get my hands on the AC/DC pack but all the discs on ebay have had the code used on them. Any idea when they're officially available in PAL-land? I've got RB2 winging its way to me here from the UK in preparation, should arrive today or monday.

There's no date set yet but hopefully it's soon. Although saying that I've got plenty to get through before I even think of ac/dc
