I completed the game last time without ever meeting him so you're fine for the main quest line, you just need to pick it up further down the line. I'd say you're probably out of luck if you're looking to platinum the game though, I'm pretty sure the GNR quest has a trophy associated.

It's amazing how much of this I didn't cover first time out, despite putting in more than 30 hours. Coming up to level 13 at the moment, and just exploring the map looking for interesting places and things to do, stumbled into Canterbury Commons last night.

The Dunwich Building is awesome if you ever stray that far out.

The only and only thing I'm using a guide for in this game is the Bobbleheads, so I'll definitely be checking that one out at some point.

Bobbleheads annoyed me as I got to 19/20 without a guide and then I read that there is the missable one and certain that's the only one I never got.

                  Yeah, the one in

                  Raven Rock

                  is missable unfortunately.

I saw it mentioned somewhere before I played the game first time through so made sure I picked it up before leaving. But I'm just not sure I have the time to be able to stumble upon them all randomly.

Having said that, I did get the one from the

                  Bethesda Ruins

last night. That place doesn't seem to have any real significance, perhaps the building layout is a real copy of their own offices?

I put in a fair number if hours on the PS3 version.

Bought the 360 GOTY from Zavvi last week for £17.95 as it was cheaper than the DLC for the PS3 and I can actually get some Achievments. I would have started (re-started?) on that if it were not for Forza.

Is there going to be a guide for the GOTY version (like there was for Oblivion)?

Edit... Apparently yes... all 752 pages of it...

Excuse the trophy whore-age, but there are a couple of DLC trophies (Mill Worker from The Pitt and Alien Archivist from Mothership Zeta) that require a collection - I take it I can explore those areas at my leisure (And can go back if I miss any) without fear of missing items and having to do it all over again?

                      Ta.

Alien Archivist has a point-of-no-return ... you can't go back after the space-walk, so make sure you have them all before that.

The steel ingots in Pitt can be got at any time.

Excellent, thanks. Considering I guess I'd need to start a new game to get them if I missed any I really want to get them all first time through - I'm pretty thorough anyway so it should be OK.

has anyone found an issue with the point lookout side quests. §doing the velvet curtain and the have put the code into the pedestals and the hatch doesn't open up.§
is it a bug or am i missing something?

If I buy the GotY edition for 360, can I install all the DLC and then play it from my normal Fallout 3 disk?
