I played this again and im loving it. Yes the controls are funny, and im a hug RE fan, still prefer 0-CV rather than these titles, but its great. And i was so scared abbout co-op, but played it with a mate this morning and stuff me drunk, its fantastic! Cant wait to see how the story holds up. That was always the best bit IMO. I cant wait!

How come it won't play on my UK machine after me spending ages pulling it down from XBL?

"This disc's region code is incorrect for this console" - a strange error since I'm trying to play it from the hard drive!

No, playing from the hard drive. I've got a Jap gamertag which I setup to pull the demo down from the Jap marketplace. So year, I'm assuming it's region locked.

The Wii version spoilt Resident Evil for me - the pointing cursor made the game easier and more playable in my opinion, now playing RE5 feels like a massive step backwards with the flimsy light beam coming of my handgun.

To be honest RE4 Wii was too easy as far as aiming went. It was rare that I wouldn't get a headshot. I like being back to the laser

The graphics are immense. I'm lamenting the lack of even a quick 90 degree turn button though, as the automatic aiming isn't that important.

90 degree turn? Never have anything like that in games do you? Usually just 180 degree quick spin round.
