    How do I sell weapons?

    Im looking for a guide that explains what all the people in the lobby are for?
    - Yes, the weapons do have little pictures in them. Sword, Gun, and Wand/Rod. When checking the stats, on a sword and gun, the first stat is Attack Power, and the second stat is Accuracy. On a wand or a rod, the first option is Mental Strength and the second is Accuracy. The stat boost gained from equipping a wand or rod does directly affect your techniques this time.

    - The shop area, an old man directly to the west of the entrance to the city hall.

    - Let me get a couple of pictures up and i'll explain what each of them do...

    1 - Consumable Item shop. Healing items and PP items, along with spells and traps for androids.
    -Buy
    -Sell

    2 - Weapon, Armor and Armor Unit shop.
    -Buy
    --Weapons
    --Armor
    --Armor Units
    -Sell

    3 - Elemental and Attribute Shop, this store will add an element to one of your weapons, or let you add a small 5% to any damage attribute on your weapon. Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but I think it's...
    -Add Element
    -Add Attribute Damage
    --Native
    --A. Beast
    --Machine
    --Dark

    1 - Bank, Trading, and Scoreboards.
    -Character Bank
    --Deposit Item
    --Withdraw Item
    --Deposit Money
    --Withdraw Money
    -Shared Bank
    --Deposit Item
    --Withdraw Item
    --Deposit Money
    --Withdraw Money
    -Trade (Greyed out in Story Mode / Solo Mode)
    -Rewards and Scores
    --???
    --???
    --???
    --???
    --???
    --Full Title List (Like an achievements list, check what you have and haven't achieved)
    --Collect Reward (Some titles/achievements give you a reward for doing them)

    2 - Quest Counter. All your missions come from this.

    -Area Run (No quest, just a run where you can play through and defeat the boss)
    -Quest (NEW means optional, MAIN means storyline)
    -Choose NPCs in Solo Mode, Check Friends List in Multiplayer.

      Thanks mate

      Im starting to like this, but every time I go online, it takes ages to find a match, and I only ever have one other person in the game. Am I doing something wrong?

        It could just be that not many people are doing normal difficulty, if you're still on that.

        I could try levelling with you if you'd like, what's your FC?

          Silvergun, is there an armor unit translation list anywhere? The only ones I can make out are the +HP/PP ones. Other than that, I try to equip the higher rarity/star ones.

            Taken from http://members.cox.net/thefarce/

            攻撃力 = Attack Power (ATP)
            防衛力 = Defense Power (DFP)
            命中力 = Accuracy Power (ATA)
            回避力 = Evade Power (EVP)
            法撃力 = Mental Power (MST)

            炎耐性 = Flame Resistance
            氷耐性 = Ice Resistance
            雷耐性 = Electric Resistance
            光耐性 = Light Resistance
            闇耐性 = Dark Resistance
            全耐性 = All Resistance

            You can also check the translated Japanese Wiki and hover the mouse over the names for the original text, so you can find out what they are.

                Seriously, this is a wonderful game, and I've not even gone online with it yet...
                I did play DC PSO a LOT. Just other games I like a LOT as well and looking forward to. I'm not big on rebuying games, and I know I'll rebuy when the western release comes out. So I'm going to wait. (don't tempt me as I'm already teetering)

                  The Title List only shows one or two things you haven't achieved. There are 100 of these according to Famitsu.

                      Hard mode opens when you have completed all the main quests, when you get the quest list the ones that say main are the ones that advance the story if i remember.

                      I can't remember which list the friend codes are inputted into as i dont have my ds to hand.

                      The sewers unlock after you have completed the 4th story quest if i remember, then in the far south area of the town theres a manhole if you stand above it white arrows will appear & you'll be able to enter.

                        Regarding friend code inputs (and more!)...

                        MAIN MENU:

                        -First three options are character slots, obviously
                        -Fourth option deals with friend codes and such
                        -Fifth option configures your DS for wifi, same as in Mario Kart, Pokemon, Metroid, whatever else

                        FRIEND CODES MENU
                        -First option shows everyone you've added as a friend
                        -Second option allows you to add a friend code as well as a username associated with that code
                        -Third option allows you to change the name associated with your code
                        -Bottom screen displays your own friend code and name

                        CHARACTER MENU
                        -First option is Story Mode
                        -Second option is local multiplayer
                        -Third option is online multiplayer
                        -Fourth option is character customisation (you can modify your character whenever you want)
                        -Fifth option gives you a yes/no prompt to delete your character

                        CUTSCENE/DIALOGUE STUFF
                        -Press Start to skip cutscenes
                        -Press X to rapidly skip through dialogue
                        -Pressing Y lets you read anything you might have missed by scrolling back with the d-pad

                        IN-GAME TOUCHSCREEN STUFF

                        -Top-left corner is obvious - shows your HP, PP and level
                        -Top-right corner shows your Action Palette - the icons are bound to the Y, B and A buttons respectively. Hold R to bring up the secondary Action Palette
                        -Bottom-left corner - this window shows you the name and a couple of stats on items you're about to pick up, you also get prompts when someone comes online here
                        -Bottom-right corner - Map of the current area, shows exits, chests and other stuff
                        -Uppermost button, next to map - brings up the Pictochat editor, touch to open
                        -Lower button, next to map - brings up your cache of saved/predetermined Pictochat pics, touch to open
                        -See the empty strip between all those boxes? That's where other players' HP is displayed.

                        IN-GAME PAUSE MENU
                        -First option is your inventory, which is split into four categories: support items, weapons, armour/mags and technique items (I think). Left/right switches categories, up/down to select items, L/R to view info on selected items, A to equip/use, B to cancel
                        -Second option is (I think) a quick-equip menu, not sure
                        -Third option allows you to customise the Action Palette
                        -Fourth option deals with Mag stuff - feeding and all that junk
                        -Fifth option is to do with quests in single-player mode
                        -Sixth option allows you to save or quit

                            This game looks like it's getting loads of NTSC-uk love so I think I'll order when they do a translation. A couple of questions for the veterans:

                            Having never played phantasy start before I don't know my mag from my force arts, is there an online guide somewhere that can help me decide what character type to go for and what type of equipment they use?

                            Can you still get the same kind of play experience if you never go online (like rare items etc?)

                            Thanks!

                              psupedia.info is a Phantasy Star specific wiki site, however they're more about Phantasy Star Universe at the moment.

                              Quite a few of us here are Phantasy Star veterans though and i'm sure you'll have no problem getting to grips with the game, even in Japanese.

                              Any specific questions, feel free to ask and i'll do my best to answer.

                                Just found a very interesting item online. Its a 6 star unit. On the description, there are six purple squares. The third one along has three circles inside each other, that look like a target, if you see what I mean. Any idea what it is?? Or how R@rE!!1 it is?
