If anyone's interested, the Evo 2009 HD videos are making their way to IGN insider now. So far they've uploaded the finals for SF4, HD Remix and MvsC2. HD Remix final is 450mb, SF4 is 1.5gb (four parts).

In the Network Battle menu, what is the option under Player Match called?

In that option I gather you have:
Quick Match
Custom Match
Create Match

In Custom Match, what is the top option called, and what are the two choices? And what is the bottom option called, and what are the two choices?

In Options, what is the option under System Settings called? (It's the very bottom one, and some kind of explanation of the CE mode)

In the R1 menu, what is the last option (very right) in Arcade Request Settings called?

One last bonus Q too. Can I not save two seperate button settings? Like one for a pad and one for a stick? I had a custom stick setting saved, but when I created a custom pad setting it seems to have saved over my stick settings.

Hopefully you can understand what I mean. I've not played since before the CE update and so being as I have the JPN version I'm at a bit of a loss as to what these new things are. I'd really appreciate the help.

Has anybody else noticed quite a jump in the skill levels of going from rank G1 in the Championships to G2?

I've just recently moved up to G2 and finding it quite a struggle. Had about 7 shots at it tonight and managed to get to the semi-final twice and the final once

Obviously moving up a rank players will be better, I'm just surprised at by how much.

You mean from G3 to G2? Yeah, it's all subjective but I've found G2 quite hard slog too.

I think it's because I don't really enjoy just playing one character, but you really have to use one of your best all the time if you want to progress. Plus 85&#37; of all matches are against a Ryu player. Yawn, yawn, thrice yawn......

From my experience it seems everyone moved, and stayed, from Ranked to Championship, as Ranked (quick matches) are now pretty much all flowchart Kens and jump back, air fireball Akumas, really inexperienced players on average in Ranked I've found, I see better competition in Player matches.

Oops, yeah, from G3 to G2.

I'm exactly the same, I enjoy using a fair range of characters but I can see I'll have to keep with the one (Vega I reckon) and practice with him.

My experience is most matches are against Sagat (one tough cookie), but there are a lot of Blankas as well. I just can't seem to get around Blanka's rolls
