My SE fight stick feels a bit cheapy at times
It's ace playing with it when it works but the stick does have the reported problem and my y button can not register sometimes.

I'll definately be replacing the parts. The game itself is excellent, old school gameplay updated for current gen. Lots of love has gone into this.

Any 360 game will scale to 1080p as the machine supports it PS3 has to have games programmed to do it. Neither of them is 1080p native so their scaling up anyway so doesnt make any difference unless you want a version to scale. PS3 you cannot use 1080p its not supported.

No complaints with the TEs here. Both of em ie one each system identical, no flaws in em like the SRK forums went mental over. Their just works of art ie arcade perfect sanwa panels.

They've definitely skimped on the parts with the SE. Not complaining too much as I'll be replacing them but you can see where the money went!

What's it say you have to do? They're usually two buttons pressed quickly in sequence i.e LK then HK

I've unlocked all the standard unlockable characters now so it's just Akuma, Gouken and Seth. Those are going to be a bit more of a pain.

Loving the game, though. I'm playing around with characters to find one that works for me outside of Ryu and Ken, because I don't want to be one of those online who only plays as those two, and although I like Sagat he's fast joining them.

Quickie question as I value peoples opinion round these parts. I never got on with SF2 - mainly because I am CRAP at fighting games. On the other hand I enjoy Soul Calibur as its a bit more forgiving.

So the predictable question is - am I likely to enjoy this and whats the online matchmaking like? Am I going to get paired against other SF chumps?

                  It's (crouch) med K > Direction Right + Med P

It just doesn't seem to do anything

Try just Crouch MK then MP without pushing right. I think that arrow or chevron symbol just means press "this" button next.

managed it, the window is just very tight.

Now stuck on a low punch sonic boom. I thought I had it nailed but it won't take it!

I'm ashamed to say I adore the main menu music

Anyone played the 360 and PS3 versions back to back? Exactly the same?

Unsure what to go for, 360 where i have a Rap EX or PS3 with the VSHG?

I personally dont use them I find it quicker to press the 3 buttons at same time than reach. Chuff knows how you can do that with a fight pad though (so used to snes/ps pads for all left one and all right one for stuff like that) guess its the pad you would have to use bumpers for that to cheat lol
I'm interested in VSHG but I keep on reading problems with it not recognizing input if pressed 3 buttons together.

It's going to be a bit off at the moment because everyone's starting at the same point, but give it a couple of weeks and it should get all right at it. One of the filters when searching for ranked matches is to look for people of similar skill.

I was also going to post this: there's a pretty good beginner's tutorial on the Guardian website of all places, which talks about how the different types of attack work and how to find the character that suits your style once you've mastered the all-rounders like Ryu and Ken.

I have always been below average in every single Street Fighter game I lay my hands on and the latest is no exception.

You will be told (by others) that it is more accessible and easier if you stick to the easy setting on the arcade mode but if you detest cheap final bosses or cheapness in general - which may work you up a little bit too quickly - then you may wish to stay clear of Street Fighter IV, just like me!

The online lobby is one vs one at the moment but a later patch at some point may sort this out.

I recommend you to stick with FEAR 2 and await the game a fair amount of people are in anticipation for next Friday; Killzone 2.

It's the SE stick I've got. How do I go about replacing the parts? Can anyone give me a link please with a guide and info on where I purchase the parts from.

                                Thanks
