Don't worry about it - too many pussies online crying about 'cheap' & 'scrub' & claiming that throws shouldn't be allowed & other assorted bull****.

Just play your own game & do what it takes to win - if your opponent can't counter your tactics, bad luck for them.

Just as as general tip that I don't know if anyone's mentioned focus-absorbing the fireball and then dashing-cancelling out the focus (by holding the buttons when you input the dash and releasing them after, this does not let out a focus attack) is a good way to gain distance on fireball spammers without risking the jump-in.

I've been trying that but I struggle to activate Focus again after the dash and invariably eat the second fireball that always comes. I just need to get a bit quicker with it I think.

I like the Focus Attack for it's offensive properties (crumple, dash forward, combo is awesome) and it's ability to cancel specials has great potential (not managed to do it in a fight yet but Dragon Punch cancel and EX Hadoken to catch them as they fall is pretty cool). However defensively I find Focus isa bit more cumbersome and less flexible than Parrying was although it may come with more practice.

Wow, some mad sounding stuff here. Gonna have to hit the training methinks. Focus ahoy.
          Kept you waiting, huh?

Naaa, b0ll0x to that. If you can recognise their technique and counter it - even if it means you are spamming 1 move - that?s skill, not cheap.
For me how skillful you are is how well you can alter your style to deal with situations. In the immortal words of Bruce Lee the ultimate style is having no style at all (or something similar).

That?s not to say all peoples styles/techniques are crap, some are well defined and difficult to break but I do think it?s takes more skill to beat someone fighting in a certain way than actually fighting a certain way.

Again this goes back to ranked/player matches and what you want out of them. If you?re going to play ranked matches be prepared for anything and be prepared to skank anything - this is what tournament play is all about - you?re playing to win. This isn?t for everyone though, dealing with peoples techniques can be frustrating and/or boring but this is what you have to do.

I've not had the problems people have been having here - no dodgy messages or anything (although I had to ditch MrKirov the other night when me nipper woke up )

I'm eyeing up sticks now. 360 pad = too many missed flash kicks.

Why is the multiplayer lobby only for 2 people? I want all my friends in my xbox live party in the lobby either waiting or watching to play some winner stays on. Poor admission tbh.

What happens on February 28th too? Some kind of update? There's a sticker on the front of the box, but I cannae work out what it says.

                  *EDIT*

It's the Champion Edition update from what I can gather.
are you BLOODY KIDDING ME? Feb 28th?!?!? I figured it would be out in at least a month if not later, what with all the 'amazing super duper' things they're adding alongside the now bog-standard (but stupidly annoying in its absence) winner-stays-on.

I've been playing over the weekend with mine (Fnar!) and no problems at all outside of user ineptitude.

Where do you get the code from? I didn't see on included with the game & game hasn't emailed me code like do sometimes on the release day.

The code with the CE is on the back of the strategy guide.

Cheers for that I'll have a look when I get home tonight. I must admit I only did a man look when I looking for it in the game.
