This is a video of the top 8 fights from the ranbat I went to a few weeks ago. It's a very long video, but what I really wanted to show you was athe bit at about 7:15 where Bison whiffs his Ultra due to Zangief being in the air. Gief's method of catching up to him was priceless XD

How on earth do you do Zangief's final hard trial? It's the knee drop, crouch LK x 4, EX banishing flat one. Even getting the four kicks on their own is hard enough, even without having to do a knee drop first or a banishing flat at the end. The timing is insane, and you have to be spot on with the position you land or you'll be too far away for the final kick to connect.

        Mashing? Why I oughta ...

It occasionally happens when triggering a focus attack ... simply a case of hitting the wrong two buttons on the stick.

Phew! Just finished all the trails on hard! Was some tough nuts in there!!

Some particularly hard ones for me:

            C Viper no 2, 5
El Feurtes no 5 (it's his infinite)
            Ken's no 4, 5

C Viper's number 5 was driving me nuts as I was pulling the move and it kept missing. Went and watched a vid on youtube and I was actually performing the Ultra too quickly First time that's happened as I'm normally too slow (especially the speed you have to do Ken's 4 and 5)

i found that easier if i did the knee drop and it was a cross up (so if hit with it you land on the oppoiste side of the character)

For some strange reason no matter how bad I am at this I can't stop playing it, clocked over 26 hours I think now which is crazy for me when it comes to fighting games.

I hate how some ultras feel like they can change the fight way too much.

                Also losing makes me angry

After a pretty bad losing streak, I like to de-stress by playing the next ten or so matches as Ken and Ryu before leaving the game on a high.

I'm in the process of trying to learn Guile and constantly playing against Ken/Ryu/Akuma with the odd Sagat starts to grate on me especially when I lose to tactics I know I should be able to avoid.

Also doesn't give me any chance to practice against anyone else so when Blanka,Dhalsim,Bison,Balrog etc. come along I don't have a scooby doo what to do.

Normally end up sending every Ken I lose to a message about how boring it is to constantly face Ken.

My thumb is killing too cause of this crappy Dual Shock 3 d-pad which makes Guiles ultra so bloody hard to pull off, no thanks to everyone buying up all the hori sticks and putting them on eBay for silly money.

Some great matches staged by Arcadia Magazine where top Japanese player Daigo sets his Ryu on various other top players from Japan such as Joe's C.Viper, Fudo's Ryu, Itabashi's Gief, Inoue's Bison, Nemo's Chun-Li and finally, Mago's Sagat.

The dash cancelling of shoryukens in the first fight are just mental.

Pardon the gratuitous thought but; i wonder how much pussy Daigo gets thanks to his SF fame

You think that's impressive cancelling, you should look at this video by that C.Viper guy:

See if you can actually pick out what Viper did to end round 1 XD My friend seems to know, but I can't see it...
