The online in this is really good, even if I'm completely awful at it. I wish it had a bit more in the way of filtering, though. Specifically a "no Ken" option and a "nobody who hasn't installed the game" option for the PS3 version. "Only players who are worse than me" would also be good, but I'm not sure there are any.

Just a quick question, the HD film that comes with the CE edtion, is it a bluray on the ps3 and what format is it on the 360?

PS3 version is bluray. 360 version is a 360 format game disk that plays back the movie in HD.

Many thanks! Hmm, I want the bluray so PS3 (not to mention finally using my Amazon HRAP 3) but want it for the occasional Live match on the 360 too... any ideas if its possible to buy the bluray on its own anywhere or is it just clips thats found in-game as a compilation?

          Anyone wanna sell?

I think I'm around 1k, I just lost my first match for 90+ then it took me about 5 wins to get all those back!

Its a proper story. Not seen it anywhere else. PS3 version has true HD audio as well for english and jpn tracks in 5.1. It wasnt that great to be honest. Worth it for a a pack (I was more bothered about the figures and the DLC as noone knew what the exclusive dlc was for ages then its just brawler code lol) so we you consider you get all that its not bad. Thing is theirs not much action in it which was abit disapointing but I will watch it again. ITs got some good trailers on it as well from the shows.

Its called Street Fighter IV - SF IV The Ties That Bind if you can find it anyway

X,Y,RB weak to fierce punch LB all 3 buttons
A,B,RT,LT weak to fierce kick LT all 3 buttons

360 though its totally different and the ps3 above is only same if you setup to pad. Just that I like to play authentic lol so any ideas?
It's the very last setting on the 360 controller settings, change it to arcade stick then the last config "custom" then it's the same as your listing.

I think the thing is that most people who are new to the game, and new to fighting games in general, will pick a shoto to learn the game with. I've never really been that good at fighting games, and when I started to learn to play 3rd Strike I started with Ken as a primer to how 3rd Strike works. And because of that familiarity, I picked Ken for SFIV as well.

The horde of shotos will die down after a few months, methinks. The game did just become available on consoles not that long ago. Me, I'm a Ken for life because I'm just that **** XD

My Zangief is so tired lariating through and leaping over hadokens. It's weakening him. Everytime he goes on a warrior's journey across Live or PSN, he only sees Ken heads. It's like Being John Malkovich, but Being Ken Masters

I'm absolutely gobsmacked right now. So much so that I can barely speak words to describe SF4 today. Luckily my fingers are fine, so...

I turned the 360 on, installed it, had a quick go in training for a minute or two then went straight into XBL, haven't even tried arcade mode yet.

I like that the points system takes as well as gives points, it makes each match count. Not to mention it's such a great feeling nabbing 90-odd points from some of the better players where they only get around 5-10 from me! I'm on about 300 I think at the moment, I played a few ranked games (sent a couple of guys back to zero which was strangely gratifying although I did feel a pang or remorse) then had a few player matches. I had one laggy game and since then I'll just kick anyone with two or less bars. I imagine a bunch of them probably thought I was just scared, but I don't roll that way.

I did try the arcade mode with XBL challenges enabled. Shame any interruption puts you back at the start of your match even if you decline the challenge, but I guess it's more to keep you occupied while you wait for challengers than serve as a proper arcade mode, and viewed like that it's an absolute God-send, no more twiddling fingers waiting for someone to join. I wish all games did this, even if it was something like Pacman while you wait.

I salute Capcom for reviving SF the way they have done, frankly I didn't expect them to pull it off. It's both lovingly familiar and at the same time refreshingly new. Anyone who loves SF will be right at home, and it will hopefully bring back those who used to play but have stopped, and anyone who's been in two minds about jumping into the lovely blue waters of the SF pool, it's like Scarlett Johansson's beckoning you come hither

Most importantly for me, I'm glad we're all starting this at the same time, learning this new game's nuances, it's a really good feeling for me. With SSF2T and 3S, I started much later (in the case of 3S, I didn't start playing it until SFAC on Xbox) and I've been playing catch-up, but now the playing field's a bit more level.

I can't wait until tomorrow when a whole load more UK-ers will have this game so there'll be many more lag-free fights available.

@ hoolak, I wanna see your Zangief, man! I'm soft punch on xbl, if you're on xbl too I wanna see! I wanna compare yours with phillai's (that should be fun)

Haha, please do not expect much. Mine's a drunken shadow of what phillai's can probably do I will entertain you, though. No problem.

I got the game today for 360 and I love it, I also got the FightStick as well. I have to say I'm not to impressed with it I find it easier to pull moves with the normal 360 joypad than I do with the fightstick. Is anyone else finding this who bought the stick or is it just me, I'm just not sure if the stick isn't that good/faulty or that its me and I'm just not used to using sticks anymore ( I've not used a stick since playing SFII in the arcades).
