Can anyone tell me how to go from a EX focus cancel into a Shinryuken with Ken, it's the first challenge on the hard mode?

I've not done that one, but generally, you need to dash to cancel the focus attack (so you should be holding rather than tapping the focus attack buttons) then do the next move really quickly.

after you do the ex focus attack dash forward should give enough time to do the shinryuken

is there anywhere (not ebay, im not paying £70) that i can get one of the fight pads for the 360? dont mind the design, but would prefer ken, there going for crazy prices on ebay and cant find them anywhere!

Yeah, while still holding MP+MK just dash forward. It doesn't work if you let go of MP+MK before dashing

Holy Christ this game is fanstastic..

Apart from having to use a 360 pad that is.. Serious hampers me skillage but I'm sure I'll get used to it.

Currently in the 700s here, gradually building a run again (up to 5, woot achievement!) to see if I can reach the magical 10. Had a couple of hard fights against higher BP players that I somehow took down, so fairly pleased with that so far. Bit more varied tonight in the opponent front; aside from the usual Ryu and Ken had 2 Sagats, a Cammy, Honda, Zangief and Abel.

Has anyone got a link or their own thoughts on the SFIV Fightpad? I got one next to me sealed not sure if ill keep it in the end. Is the pad any good and is there any problems with the design structure when using it to play SFIV?

I have one. The dpad is perfect. It's like the Saturn's but, dare I say, better! The pad is more bulkier than a Saturn pad, almost getting toward 360 controller size. I love it and seriously thinking of getting another one for my 360.

OK, starting to make a little progress on this now. I'm using Fei Long at the moment, I'm not sure if he's supposed to be one of the cheap characters or not? Either way, he's sort of working for me so I'm sticking with him at the moment.

I'm using one of the SFIV pads, when people are doing moves that require circular movement of the d-pad are you just rotating it under your thumb, almost as if it's a stick? I'm finding that I'm accidentally jumping all over the place when doing that but it does seem to be the way to go for me. lol

I'm finding that flashing light on the health bar really useful for timing combos.

Do you unlock more languages after or is it just English & Japanese?

I really haven't got a clue about the Super/Ultra stuff at the moment, it's just looking impossible.

Fei Long is a really good character. His chicken wing kick (225degree circle towards + K) has great range. That move is ace.

On the pad, yeah, I move the top of my thumb swiftly over the directions needed to be pressed. You shouldn't be battering your thumb doing this.

So which characters do people not like?

El Fuerte, Dhalsim and Vega are mine so far. Probably Fei Long as well as i haven't used him yet, never did get on with him in SSF2.

Depends who I play as. If I'm Zangief, I find Blankas and E.Hondas a handful.

I just find them weak to use against anyone else. But that could be down to my suckage skills. Dhalsim is sooo slow and his stupid giant nutsack for a pose at the end makes me not like him more.

Aaah, I thought you meant to play against. Not sure. El Fuerte probably. There's one or two I just find boring to play as such as Guile, Ken and Honda.
