Go for the stick! I'm not an expert by any stretch, but as long as you are going to play regular (as I do), and play other fighters it's a sound investment.

I did have to think twice when buying it because fo the hefty tarriff, but I soon forgot about it once I recieved it. I'v used it solidly since I bought it and it's a fantastic stick.

To go with turtling Balrogs, I can now add turtling Vegas. Played three of them yesterday, all doing the same thing; just crouch block, charging the wall dive and backflipping away to avoid my attacks and maybe an occasional EX attack dive or roll. Very, very boring. Not offering any real offence at all.

Getting a life lead and sitting on it is kinda Vega 101. If in 6 hits you take off the same life Zangief does to you in one, of course you'd play on the defensive.

If someone won't come at me, I'll gladly wall dive on the spot a dozen times. Free meter. Course I throw in some cosmic heel and crouching strongs too, so it isn't all defensive. About 80%.

The flip works on people who don't 'get' it, but it can be followed and punished badly. Used in moderation it is irritating sure. Used all the time, you're asking for an ultra.

re: stick, I couldn't play without one. I have a Hori though. Need a cheap turbo pad for some of the challenges.

As for the MadCatz stuff, I'm sure they said they'd have a good flow of new stuff in before the end of April.

just played afew player games before i left for work today and i have to say i suck big time out of the 4 games i play i come close to winning just one round out of all of them man i need to get better


Edit at 20:03pm played it for about one hour when i got home from work. I now think i have nailed the timing one ryu Hadōken, i'm happy with that
