I'm not an open world game fan, but I love the presentation of this so might have to get it sometime despite the fact that it dosent really seem to play any better than GTA 4 or Crackdown (two games that rely on their open world to hide unpolished gameplay).

Its not deffinitley gonna be taking me away from Punchout! and Bionic Commando any time soon though.

I bought Bionic Commando today (meh ) but have spent most of my evening playing this!!

Looks great, controls very well and is amazing fun!!

Sucker Punch really are a talented bunch of people. Now, where's my HD Sly Racoon!?

Really liking it. The controls and powers feel solid. Just feels so good to play. The only problem i have with the game is the low resolution textures and poor texture popup.

Anyone else think this looks a bit pap? the textures look terrible and the amount of jaggies is ridiculous . Plays fantastically though .

Ive got my tv and ps3 set to 1080i, is the game supposed to be played on a lower resolution??

I liked the look. The demo did seem oddly low-res, certainly, but even with the graphical shortcomings it still felt like more of a real place than Pacific City (Crackdown).

My favourite bizarre graphical tic had to be - do Sucker Punch have some kind of weird system for scaling the models for their pedestrians up and down? A few times I saw people on the street who looked identical to pedestrian #653 or whatever, but they'd have a really tiny head. I didn't know whether to giggle hysterically or run away in terror.

Maybe its an early version of the game. It certainly looked awhole lot better in the video review on Gametrailers....

I don't really care though tbh, its by Sucker Punch and it plays exceptionally well judging from the demo. Thats all i need.

I enjoyed the demo so much i preordered the special edition from GAME.

I'm on 720p, try setting yours to that - apart from the jaggy shadows it looked fine to me, I guess it could also depend on how close you are to your screen.

I am fine with the graphics, its a free roaming game and it does not contain blur on GTA like levels. Controls are dead on too. I'm not into Free roaming but I can dig this demo.

Typically, full games are less jagged than demos. Lets see if infamous is not an exception here.

I don't think it's really the sort of game that you'd use to show off graphics but they more than do the job.

There's some fairly obvious flaws in he demo's graphics but I didn't find there was anything that got in the way of the experience and I very quickly forgot they were there.

I really can't wait to get my copy, I'm off next week too so I'm looking forward to getting a bit of extra time to play it.

It doesnt run in 1080 at all mate so your signal will be 576p.

IN the full game do your abilities get upgrade? I like hovering but couldn't quite hover as far as I'd like.

I love jumping on a cable, scooting along at high speed then lightening death on my enemies.

The game is 720p, but if your tv doesnt support it, best you will get is 576p.

Despite the usual PS3 technical arse fail, I found the first mission to be quite tedious, to be fair I generally loath third person titles.
