I noticed you mentioned you were using cover behind a car alot, i would try and roll out to the nearest power supply to heal myself if i was in the red. Even taking it from the car heals you a little bit to give you that little extra bit of legs to find more.

Yeah I used electricity to heal very often but even then because of another niggle of mine, the pinpoint accuracy of the enemies and the way they could spot a gnats fart, still made me have to run away and duck behind cover at times. It really didn't make me feel like a badass super hero, something Crackdown did extremely right once you had powered up.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on the game as I really really enjoyed it and intend to play through it again but little niggles like those let it down for me personally. Thankfully the 2 core things, the platforming and combat were superb so I could overlook them. I just like Sucker Punch very much and want them to improve the sequel tenfold

How do I get uncharted 2 Beta ? I got the game this morning.

Not sure they come with the beta code anymore, think it was a preorder bonus.

Played some more of this on hard/Infamous. The more I play at this difficulty the more I think this is the difficulty the game should be played at - it IS hard, but only to the point that it forces you to think about combat situations. Given there are so many tools for the combat, that's definitely a good thing.

Damn I still bought the game.

You won't regret it. Uncharted 2 has its work cut out later this year if you ask me.

I've been going on my inFamous playthrough (I don't want to call it "evil" as you're really not). I think I was probably expecting things to pan out a little more differently than they have. Very few changes apart from the odd different telephone conversation with Zeke and obviously the 5 alternate side missions per island (many of which are setup for you to just cause as much carnage as possible).

However it does feel a little more liberating when you're not trying to retain your hero status. Probably most noticeably when working through areas that don't have power yet. These can be really difficult if you don't want to Bio Leech your energy back but when you're going for negative karma that doesn't matter at all. Arc Lightning is very cool but the negative karma upgrades for the Shock Grenades feel pretty useless when compared to positive karma ones.

Only 5 trophies to go too all of which will be picked up on my route to finishing the game now. Getting the Casey Jones one was a pain.

I've been thinking a bit more about the plot to this, cointains spoilers so only read if you've completed it.

If from what I understand, the Ray-Sphere went off in Kesslers time causing both him and the Beast to gain powers, Kessler then hides his powers and flees with his family while the Beast becomes more and more powerful to the point where once Kessler is the only person who could of stopped it he can't because he never developed his as quickly, so is far weaker.

So he decides to go back in time, speed up the Ray-Sphere development and give himself (Cole) an head start by starting the Ray-Sphere blast at least 10 yrs earlier and then Orchestrating Cole to reach his full potential

Is there some kind of plot hole here or something as surely

Kessler could have just gone back and destroyed the Ray-Sphere, which makes me think there could be another one, possibly owned by the government which could explain Moyas involvement

I think a sequels pretty much guaranteed, it'll be interesting to see how the story unfolds.

Yeah, at the moment looking at the powers I prefer the positive ones as well. I was hoping that the final grenade power on evil

would automatically leech any non-dead enemies (In the same way the positive traps them)

                    , but no such luck.

Yeah the Shock Grenades were my most used weapon on the good playthrough. Once upgraded the blast range and power was phenomenal and they were easy to to stick to your enemies and watch as they tried to flee and caused carnage amongst their ranks. However having the negative upgrade split into smaller grenades really seems to neuter them. They are harder to stick and don't seem to cause as much damage in the blast.

I think the reverse magnetism upgrades on a couple of your powers on the positive upgrade paths also come in handy for the Stunt List. Flying Head Shock was much harder without that.

What would be great is if the split grenades had sticky properties as well. I must admit I have quite enjoyed just using my whole battery core on a huge stream of grenades, with the right amount of destructible stuff around it looks amazing.

Fortunately I still have the separate good save going as well, I can see me using that to get all of the stunts if I have trouble on evil.

That's probably for the best. My Good save maxed out at 90% completion. Apparently the only way to get 100% completion is to have 2 concurrent Good/Evil saves running concurrently and one can pick up the extra 10% completion (evil upgrades/side missions) of the other.

just finished this, 100% all the missions/islands but not obsessive with dead drops or shards.

brilliant game, thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish and the story sets up a sequel nicely.

Just cleared my full negative karma playthrough. Ending doesn't really change that much except the final epilogue is totally different. However when you get back to the free roam the city to finish up collecting everything the city looks amazing when you finish as 'Infamous'.

My Hero playthrough save file now reads as 95% (shot up by 5%) so the 2 files are definitely tieing in with each other. Got about 30 blast shards to collect on the evil save file and hopefully that should equal 100% completiin on both.

Currently in Tokyo, and thinking of picking up a PS3 and possibly this game (amongst others) Does anyone know if the jpn version is bilingual?
