Starting to lose my patience with this a little now.

Don't get me wrong, it's easily the most fun I've had with any game so far this year but the difficulty in getting the save file to read Completion: 100% is proving incredibly frustrating.

My Hero save file finished up at 90% (all dead drops, stunts, territories, powers and blast shards). I started another playthrough with negative karma and that is currently sitting at 94% with one upgrade left to purchase and everything else completed (getting all 350 shards twice was patience testing). Totally baffled at how to get this last 5%.

I probably need to take a break from this now. Been at it almost constantly for over 2 weeks now. Feeling burnout but that 95% is going to bug me.

Little tip for anyone going after shards. Although you can track their locations with the radar echo if they are a specific height over you they will not show up from ground level and you have to climb to a specific height before they will show up. I was stuck at 348/350 for the Infamous save file and it was because of this (I generally scan from ground level).

just finished a good run , after last battle there is 1 part on the 3rd island that has no side quests on .But has not shown up as claimed ,have run about in there but nothing has triggered .???

You'll get that by completing a main mission rather than a side quest.

Could it a Hidden Package mission?

Yeah I'm pretty sure it is. Near the coastline there's a group of a few enemies that you need to take down, one of them will turn into a Hidden Package mission.

I managed to grab hold of this the other day and while I didn't expect it to be quite as additive as some of you folks have been saying, I question myself why am I playing it for long periods of time to a compulsive extent?

                Because it is addictive!

May I ask one question to you guys?

I have decided to be a goody two-shoes character or the first time round however, one of the main story related missions went against my favour. I supposedly did an 'evil act' on the mission where you are asked to

help the engineers bring down the bridge that connects the first and second island together.

I wanted to load the game but I misread the whole procedure as the game asks you if you wish to save before you load, which I think is fairly daft and I did. This means I have done a main mission whilst gaining evilness instead of goodness.

Have I buggered my chances to be the ultimate goody two-shoes or not?

                Thank you!

No you are fine. Happened to me on more than one occasion! Remember you can get good karma through doing heals on pedestrians etc... So dont worry. If you are trophy hunting though, there are set missions with Karma Consequences that will give you a good/bad trophy, so keep an eye on that!

Enjoy the game, im on my 2nd playthrough atm.

Yeah you're fine for now. It probably just means you can't some civilians in the crossfire or something like that but it would have only shifted your karma ever so slightly and if you cntinue to act good throughout you'll more than make up for it.

However, there is one point in the game where a single action can lock you into infamous (level 3 negative karma) rank but as long as all your conscious decisions you make are the positive choices you will not mistakenly do that.

                      I just absolutely this game!

I would like to ask just one more question in regards to inFamous - honest! - then I will gladly shut up for your sakes.

When you finish the game (even though I am nowhere near the finishing line yet), can you 'go back' and explore the city and pick-up the additional shards, dead drops and just generally have a blast around?

                      Thank you.

I can also see that C' has gained the platinum trophy; well done mate.

Yes, you have free reign of the city once you complete the game to finish any remaining side missions, complete your stunt list, collect blast shards etc. In ffact the game actually recommends you do so.

You can't miss anything. All Blast Shards/Dead Drops are accessible during the free reign. Some side missions reward you with blast shards but these don't count towards the 350 total (they are simply bonuses towards extending your energy meter).

One recommendation I will make though: try and get the stunts while playing through the storyline. Some of them require large amounts of grouped enemies in specific places, or just a specific type of enemy, and after the story is over these are few and far between.

'Have A Nice Fall' and 'Richt Back At Ya' being the main two. Got those two last night, can post up how if anyone's interested.

I stopped playing story missions today and started doing side missions, shard collection and dead drops.

My goodness, the game came to life, through doing this I felt like I finally mastered the controls as well. It gave me Crackdown vibes climbing, jumping and gliding and is definitely the best sandbox game around at the moment.

I got this today and gave it a big play through. I love how agile you feel, I'm enjoying it a fair bit. I've decided to go through the game with bad karma, I play too many games as a good guy. That said, I'd just once like to see a game where 'neutral' is a valid way of playing. Even Baldur's Gate, despite choosing your alignment didn't really cater to neutral playstyles (where you're not evil but don't go out of your way to help anyone but yourself).
