At the same time, the game would sell a lot better if people could, you know, play it.
EA could have rented extra servers for the initial month, the cost easily being justified with the increase in sales. There were a few of us on last night, most waiting to play the game before deciding to buy it, which is fair enough. Don't think they'll all bother giving it another go after no-one managed to get a game over a 40 minute period.

Yeah real shame that a lot of people will be put off this because of the server issues. I had a play on the tutorial to get used to the aircraft and just flying about is lots off fun (once you get used to it). I would strongley recomend giving the tutorial a play as I was landing on the aircraft carrier after about fifteen mins of messing.

Loaded it up this morning and got a game straight away! No lag issues for me at all this time. Been playing for an hour or so and it's brilliant, I need to get more used to the vehicles though as I can fly the plane very well in tutorial when no ones attacking me, but when i'm in a dog fight online my flying ability degrades as I panic and end up flying into the ground.

however, if i had bought the full game already i would be even more pissed.
