Mr Fibbles is suddenly not top of the lifetime score chart, the Joker one is (despite having 20 odd million lower lifetime score than Fibbles), the guy I saw as the one the other week, Santos something or other.

Odds or not, I'm seeing the same gamertags over and over and over which is either shenanigans, cheaters or uberquizzers. Either of those three really and it's not worth playing. I'm not the kind of person who has to win but I like a fair fight, and I don't feel like I'm getting that with this game.

It's not "paranoia" either, if you've played it enough you should have noticed certain issues with it.

You are right about one thing though!

I'm totally totally bored by it now, I've played the full 2 hours every live night, 8-12 full evenings of extended play and I've got nothing and only know ONE person who made it to the mob, on a night where prizes weren't redeemable.

So for me, I'm done, the miniscule chance of winning some MS points, maybe, are outweighed by the mind numbingly simple questions, questionable score-mechanic, repetitive voiceovers and adverts, dull stat breaks that nobody cares about that you can bring up mid round anyway and plain and simple idiots that clearly never attended school.

If it's any consolation, my mate got into the mob last week, and then got the first question wrong Although, thinking about it.. that probably isn't any consolation at all really!

I'm playing this for fun, prizes are a bonus. If you're just playing to win stuff you'll never enjoy it, don't take it so seriously, it's a game first, a competition second

I'm not denying any of those things, but I don't believe the game is "fair". I don't play games that savage you like those crazy shooters because they (for me) aren't fun. Likewise, I don't see any point in playing a game where there is almost NO chance of "winning". I don't mind not winning all the time, but I at least want a viable chance!

I wonder, would you feel the same had you paid for the game?

Either way, as I've said, tonight's my last night, it's not fun for me, it's dull. The questions are almost always too easy and it's depressing seeing so many numpties all in one place.

I watch quiz shows on TV all the time, I have no chance of winning them because I'm sitting in my living room but I still answer the questions, I just like quiz shows. It's not about the winning.

I like a game of Buzz on PS3 with the family, the fun there is playing with friends locally, laughing at the sillyness. There's none of that in 1vs100, it's devoid of any character, any charm...it's just a bunch of avatars leaping and clapping like retard seals.

I agree, taking part is infinitely more important, but only if the premise is actually fun.

played the 2h beta with prizes tonight, always in the mob but won 3 arcade games and 560 points, not bad haul even if it is 3 codes for frogger. think we only got 5 wrong all evening.

astounded at some of the wrong answers, 24 out of 100 didn't know tht Heath Ledger played the Joker for example.

I assume I get sent a message with some free download and points code ?

later edit - I thought I was always in the mob but how do I actually know, isn't everybody not the 1 in the mob or have I been a complete tool and missed something here ?

Nope, only 100 players in the mob and you'd know if you were cause the interface changes a little bit.

this is starting to feel like the wool is being pulled over my eyes, there are often INDENTICAL avatars in the 100, and they are moved around during the live game.
despite being reasonably good at this (not amazing or uber quiz meister) have yet to be the one (which is unlikely) or the mob.
i have a very strong suspicion that the 100 doesn't ever have any real people in it at all, the only time i ever made the mob was when the prizes didn't count, much like everyone else here.
There needs to be a lot more transparency with this or people will disappear within a few more weeks.

The avatars in the mob are random, probably for bandwidth reasons. That's why you always see the same ones. You probably won't ever be the one. With 50000 players, your odds are slim. Not much better for the mob, either. Again, just enjoy the quiz, don't play it expecting prizes.

i am enjoying it, i love a good quiz etc BUT it just FEELS like there is no one or 100, if feels like they are bots rather than players.
