Yes, you can. You can press RT and LT to scroll areas, whereby it'll tell you what you are missing in each area without leaving whichever area you are already in.

      Thanks. I didn't realise that.

If you check the "Riddler" page, it'll tell you exactly what you are missing and in what area you are missing it.

If it doesn't, then the game has a bug.

sorted , they were all in the botanical gardens. now i gotta find that last bloody message for the big secret achievement

Still a great game though and have loved it muchly.
This short but sweet message Ish wrote pretty much sums up my feelings towards the game.

Asides from the bosses in general, the main negative point has to be the complete lack of replayability. I tied-up most of the Riddler's challenges throughout the game as well as concluding the Amadeus Arkham chronicles along the way too.

I also admittedly thought the ending was quite flat really; 'Batman saves the day, again'.

I can't see me playing this anymore so I shall sell it on eBay during the weekend and hopefully receive at least ?25-30 for it.

          A solid 8/10 from me.

I still choose inFamous and Skate 2 as my two favourite games so far this year.

After completing it, I totally agreed with Ish. The last two bosses in particular were ****e. The last one...God, how many times were they going to reuse that mechanic?

I actually enjoyed the battle with

              Poison Ivy

, was a decent challenge while remaining fun. I do agree with the
fight though, at that point that whole routine became a tad bit overused. Saying that though it didn't really hamper the overall gameplay experience for me, still loved the game.

I am about halfway through the PS3 version now and still just having fun wandering around Arkham.

The actual ending of the game was a typical comic book ending really, not sure what people were expecting (it wanst too disimular from the ending of Batman Begins really). I would imagine a sequel could pick up right where this left off.

As ive already stated i dont think you even have to fight
anyway as I originaly just went stright to

                fight the Joker

but then reset my machine when I realised Id skipped somthing big!.

                The end fight was daft

I always thought Joker was smart, so how come he kept climbing up and letting you drag him back off that ledge, did the Titan stuff turn him into a dummy?

                .

Still a great game though, unless they did somthing increadabley unique at the end the climax was probabaly always gonna be slightly disapointing.

...and therein lies a concern for me. It looks like the sequel will be exactly the same story, with the same plot, only a different lead baddie and probably in Gotham instead of the Asylum.

Agree with you on the last boss, but goodness me couldn't they have done *something* different instead of the same mechanic they'd used the entire game, over and over? The same mechanic you had in fact just fought?

Finished this now at somewhere around 76% (can't be bothered collecting the last riddler trophies or doing the ((to me)) boring as hell challenge maps) but I have really enjoyed the game. I've never been keen on intepretations of the Batman universe that include 'superpowers' or mutations etc as I think Batman works a lot better when it represents its hero and villains as psychopaths and masterminds rather than Xmen rejects so I stomached my way through the whole 'Titan' thing and some of the baddies (eg Killer Croc) more fanciful depictions though the latter part of the game did go way over board with it. That aside though I enjoyed it as a game and would get the sequel in a heartbeat. Not sure where is a suitable location though next for it in the Batman universe. At the moment for possible variety of locations, story etc I'm thinking Wayne Enterprises

They could very easily do a sequel in Gotham City but they've "used" the Joker now and probably wouldn't get away with using him for a sequel.

Two Face as the big boss? Not sure he has the personality to carry it off however Two Face could be used as a new game mechanic highlighting his duality; As Batman are you more interested in catching the villains and bringing them to justice or is it more important to protect people? A different twist on a morality system that differs from the "Kill the orphans" or "give the orphans a puppy" stuff and is more true to Batman's internal conflict.

                        Given the ending

surely they are setting up the Scarecrow coming back as well with his hand popping out of the water after the end credits. I'd like to see Two Face, Penguin, Catwoman, Scarecrow and possibly Mr Freeze star in the next game

                          WRT the ending

How you play depends on what character's hand comes up. In my play through it was killer croc

I had the same hand come up at the end as abigsmurf's as well. Maybe they could do something like Mass Effect 2 where it uses your Arkham Asylum save to decide the playthrough and enemies you'll meet in the sequel.

The setting on Arkham Asylum was brilliant, but I'd absolutely love it if they used Gotham City if they made a sequel. The technology they're using is much more powerful than the old Batman games of the past, which would enable them to do a just as atmospheric Gotham city.

                              I had

                              Scarecrow

                              wonder what determines the outcome.

I would imagine that a sequel set in Gotham will play differently, for instance Gotham is really too big to have a singular metroid style map to explore.

I would imagine a game in Gotham would either be completely linear or open world style, Perhapse like the Spiderman games, but possibley with several large buildings/maps, for you to explore in the vain of the buildings in this one. Along with many smaller more linear maps.

Again that dosent sound like anything ground breaking, but if it played well I'd still snap it up.
