Finished this the other night. The last hour or so really fizzles out, and I just felt a wee bit short-changed in the end. All the nifty ideas were recycled so much I just got kind of sick of them. The bosses were the worst offender I think...The first time you fight

    Scarecrow

is epic, the third time not so much. Also the initial awesomeness of pelting
with the batarang as he charges towards you is totally forgotten after doing it one hundred freaking times.

I think the one bit I enjoyed on an epic scale was the opening few minutes where you're barely doing anything, just trundling Joker into Arkham. That was so superbly done.

But after he makes his move and takes over Arkham, that's kind of it for surprises in the story....just a load of cameos to please fans I guess.

It's weird, because it's clearly better than sooo many games. But I reckon I'll have forgotten all about it when the chrimbo avalanche comes.

I should be getting this in a couple of days from brother Crocky above

What's the best difficulty to go in with for some trophy hunting?

Start on Hard if you want to stack Achievements/Trophies, or Normal then Hard if you're looking to play through it a couple of times. I played through once on Hard and as much as I enjoyed it, that was enough for me.

I would say start on hard. You won't get the counter "notification" above enemies but after a few fights you will get used to it.

Some link-whorage from me: I managed to snag an interview with B:AA's writer Paul Dini, talking all things Batman-related which you can read here

Still have a few riddles to solve, but I'm not sure if I will bother to go through it all again...

Just tried the demo of this on the 360 after reading some of the comments on here. Very impressed with it. Think I'll be picking a copy up soon.

Hopefully it won't affect many people on here but unfortunately Warner have announced that all US DLC will be PS3 exclusive.

They also said that Batman AA has sold over 2.5 million. Which is pretty good.

Just finished this. Thought it was a bit short tbh, and some of the graphics look a bit rough in places, stunning in some. Might pick this up for the PC to see if the visuals are better.

Still a very enjoyable title. Im a bit of a Bat nut so this tickled me pink.

Been playing this over the past week. Started in hard thanks to the helpful chaps in here. Not had too much trouble so far.

I think this game is probably one of the best superhero games ever made after Bananaman on the speccy.

                          Seriously, it's ace.

Graphics look a little smudgey and green in that Gears sort of way, but other than that. No other gripes.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Hope there's a sequel planned with some downtown Gotham action.

I have been playing it on PC and can say visually it is quite a bit better than the console versions. Sharper and alot more detailed.

                              How's that for a recommendation?

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but I can't beat the final Joker battle. It's taking me too long to clear each wave of goons, so the Joker gets turned back to face me with another wave of goons.

And throwing a rifle into the mix is totally unfair.
