It's strange as that's my excact same feelings.

I like the road car itself but prefer the Production Enzo compared to the race spec big brother. Also in PGR4 it was a beautiful car to look and listen to but it was hard to control in any situation other than an open race track.

In Forza 3 the FXX is magnificent and so far is my favourite car to control and has one of most intresting cockpits aside from the Audi R8.

I'm a bit ill at the moment with a cold so any kind of fast videogame is out of my reach but I'm looking forward to getting back to businnes in the car.

finding the R2 races a bit of a challenge, I'm not tuning my cars so use them as 'stock' and playing on hard, tend to find the front 2-3 cars streak away from me, I set my quickest laps after 2-3 goes round then the back markers all haul me in and go past me, never to be seen again.

I've tried a couple of cars (all the R2s you get gifted in career mode, not bought any) and the same happens every time, i was a bit better in the Aston but still tailed off badly later in the race pace wise. don't know if its my concentration or if i'm scrubbing the tyres out inadvertantly and not knowing it.

The more I'm playing Forza3 the more I love it... when I just started with Forza3 it felt it was missing some of the magic that Forza2 had... but now I know my way around the menu's, the storefront and the season play I really must admit this is better in everyway as Forza2, online is great as well, pick a class and go racing, when the group you are racing with is ****, quite and join another one, so far is has been really good online.
I love it that you can check the leaderboards for the top players, go to their storefront and see if you can buy a race winning cartune from them, this makes it much better racing in B, A and S class cars. I suck at upgrading and tuning a car and now I can still have a go for the victory because the car is good enough !! great stuff !
              I'm really loving it !!

have also been messing around designing a car, it proved again I don't really have the patience for it, but the end is not great, but also not bad, my WipeOut car:

unfortunally not mate, I bought some of the logo's from the storefront and because of that I can't put the whole design on the storefront.....

I also am loving this game more and more. Admittedly I haven't been able to play it as much as I would have wanted, but the online races I had with Force and helicon the other night were really fun.

Some of the new tracks are brilliant - I hadn't raced on some of the longer versions because I hadn't met them in Career mode, but after a few laps I was on the pace. The corners just really flow one into another. Brilliant.

I know MW2 is out at the moment, but once most of us have really attacked the Career mode, it would be great to get a regular race evening organised again, and maybe bring the Endurance races back. I loved those.

I only got this game the other day and can say that I'm very impressed. The amount of detail is amazing! Even driving a car I own in real life was uncanny. Seeing the interior of my Imprezza STi as it should be on a game (minus the naive set up) was mind blowing. The car even handles quite like the real thing. Not the same but good enough.

I'm loving the calendar style of play as well as you progress from one event to another. In fact I love everything about this game apart from the God awful music. Typical American rock ****e. But even that doesn't put me off because it's down with the music volume and up with the wonderful sound effects. The effects are that good that you actually get a sense of feeling the force as you slam on the breaks right behind a car or leaning to one side as you take a corner. I've never felt that it a home racing game before.

If you're a serious racing fan and you've not bought this game yet then you really need to.

I bought the boy a Forza Super Elite today. It took me about 2 hours to re-D/L all my content from 2006 when I did actually have a 360, and set him up an account.
Anyway I've been playing this for about 3 hours solid now. I keep promising the lad he "can have a go in a minute". Lol. It's pretty swish non?
                              Kept you waiting, huh?
