I got this last week as it was on my to get list for a while i'm not too far into it but i am really enjoying a 2d style shoot em up in a 3d world.

Plus the music is good.

Try buying the Japanese version. Sounds a lot easier and it's so cheap these days. I've got both versions now. One for plot and one for suits

I found the site purely looking for info on getting the Papillion suit a little while ago. Google is a wonderful thing! I've maxed out the Blackbird suit, its AWESOME, and now working through all of the missions and trials on Normal difficulty with it. The other suits arent maxed out but they have their energy drives.
I'm really glad other people are seeing the potential for this title, in fact I'm keen to design concepts for a sequel! Just because there is SO much room for development! New suits, new enemies and new, faster moves and attacks.
It would be fantastic!

I brought P.N.03 on PAL launch and it took me a long time to get into but after some time I feel in love with it!

After some time in my gaming life trying to force myself to like Scrolling shoot em-ups I finally admited I dont like them and hate the gameplay. ie rembering their attack patterns and I dont consider that gameplay at all.

However P.N.03 is a diffrent issue. It looks brillant, the gameplay of rembering enemy attack animations, sounds and being able to duck behind cover is brillantly exciting and so consuming.

I've completed it so many times and once done a one life, 148 minute run through on Hard mode and have photo evidence to prove it!

A brillant game and considering the cult status given to Radient Silvergun, Ikeruga, R Type and so many other 2d shoot-em-up's, it's sad such attention is not given to, in my opionion, the superiour P.N.03.

Admitidly i did not underestand the game to begin with.

When i first played it i thought fast paced shooter with resident evil style controls not the greatest idea ever.

Eventually after seeing a few vids i under stood what the games was about.And really enjoyed it

Still would rather have them done say devil may cry movement though

Just got the game, don't really understand how to move and evade properley, where can I see these vids?

This game is really making me HATE the GC d-pad. It's too small and unresponsive for my big thump and I keep making mistakes when trying to do the energy drive moves in tight situations.

Don't know if this was mentioned but apparently in the JP version you don't get the multiplied bonus at the end of a room unless you wait for it to be added before exiting the room.

You don't get them unless you wait in the PAL version either.

Are you sure? It doesn't look like you do in the US version but I double checked the totals and it does end up higher than the room clear bonus alone would give.
