Are the battle modes any good? I used to love those in other kart games.

I completed all 64 challenges and found them enjoyable until the last ten, unfortunately I got burned out due to me doing them all in a couple of sittings. The last one done my head in, but I got there in the end.

Great game, shame it got a 6 from eurogamer largely because it's a mario kart clone, apparently.

SOL after playing this and hearing jet set radio, can you guys please get the gig to bring Jet Set Radio,Daytona and chu chu rocket to xbox arcade.

You lot at sumo seem to understand how to bring fun back into gaming. My lad of 5 had 15 mins before school so he had a go and did the first GP coming first. His face was a picture.

Really fun game I am enjoying it .Are there anymore tracks coming as DLC.A REZ one would be nice.

          Everyone at sumo well done

We keep asking - one day

Glad to see some positive feedback. If anything that's what we're seeing, the odd duff review, but most of the players are having plenty of fun, and that's what counts at the end of the day!

Me and my mate were comparing the 360 and PS3 versions last night and there's a definate difference in terms of framerate between the two with the PS3 coming out on tops but it never becomes unplayable in the dips. We checked out some vids of the Wii version too which looks impressive.

We're both hitting the point now where we pretty much love the game, it hits the spot which Mario Kart has been missing now for four installments. I know Sumo doesn't typically run long running franchises but there are so many omissions from this game that'd we'd buy a sequel to this without pause for thought. Fingers crossed it does well

+1 to the positive feedback. Really enjoying it so far. It's just great simple fun.

I was hoping for a shed load of DLC. There are soooo many other Sega characters, worlds, tunes etc that could be added to this.

Anyone know how well it is selling?

It's down as number 8 in the all formats chart which I'm presuming is alright as there's some older stuff above it like COD but I'm presuming Bioshock 2 is still selling decent numbers and it's number 9.

If anyone wants an online race in the PS3 version add me: CTNext

PS- Turns out the Dreamarena trophy is glitched anyway so can't get that one

Massively enjoying this - sequel or DLC appreciated (I want a track in Dobuita!) Question though - why is House of the Dead called "Curien Mansion" - is there a copyright issue at play here or is something else??

Is that not the name of the 'house' in House of the Dead in the very first game, your called to Curien Mansion to investigate what is going on.

Really enjoyed what i've played(couple of missions, all GP's completed), my only problem with is some of the tracks. Feels like such a waste to have to many "samey" sonic tracks all track from Adventure, 2 to 3 beach, Casino, Death Egg tracks each is to much when there other great sonic locals like Green Hill, Marble Zone, Starlight Zone, or just one off tracks like (as mentioned before) on past sega games like Rez, Street of Rage, Panzer Dragoon and Daytona complete with tunes.

While this is unlikely we'll see any of this for DLC, a sequel gotta go deeper with the Sega fan service. And on more wish, URA and Am2 tree driving a convertable Hornet.

Yeah it is, although I think most people know it just as the house of the dead.

Yeah but from a development point of view it makes sense to have several tracks for several themes so they're not starting from scratch. I think there are enough. I would however definitely pay for extra SEGA game themed DLC, although I'm not sure it'll sell enough to justify it. I seem to remember Sumo promising Outrun DLC?

OOPS. Ignore me, was thinking of music tracks.
