Played a few online games last night and was loving it just as much as the demo. I like it that you can just play a whole game specialising in a particular thing to help other people. I spent a whole round just spotiing attacking enemies , without firing so that my team who were defending the base could see their little orange waypoints trying to sneak

Anyone know how the PS3 and X360 versions stack up? Normally I'd just plump for the 360 version by default but my 360 is out of action at the moment waiting for a new hard drive from MS.

rescue a Japanese scientist who is out of his mind with worry regarding a new special weapon that has been created, then a freaky alarm starts going off and you need to get the **** out of dodge ASAP. After making it off the island in a sub Godzilla is awakened and you are sunk be the resulting shock wave of AWESUM!!!1 Then there is some boring **** in which I guess is just filler before returning to the islnd to go toe to toe with the giant radiocative lizard!

When I first played it I remember a message popping up to say a Gamer Picture had been installed, but I didn't notice anything about a theme and to my surprise I found it when I was tidying up some files. It's a shame the main image doesn't include the flaming soldier and the tank though.

I did the same thing. Had 800 points put aside for perfect dark at the end of the month. Bastard !!!

Been reading up and a quite lot of people have done this from the VIP store, ended up with theme.
Loving the XM8C on engineer class it's a death dealer.

I'm loving the singleplayer, especially the jungle bits. It looks and sounds brilliant.

I'm a little lost in multiplayer though. Don't really know what's going on half the time.

Got the PS3 version and it is awesome. The visuals and playablity are top notch. Big sigh of relief from me after being so non plussed by MW2.
Anyone tried the PC version? Tempted to plump for that too as I dont have as much time on my PS3 these days

Yup I have the PC version (as I stated in my post earlier), visually it is alot sharper (as you would expect) and the majority of the effects are better too.

Just got this, noticed it patched straight away (360). So whats the general vibe, is it worth playing online at the moment as it is, or is it screwed?

Not putting a downer on things, its just that so few games are worthy of playing on the week of release anymore, you have to wait 4-6 weeks generally...

I played multiplayer thursday night 1 day before release and it was always full of people.

Yet to have a good multiplayer game, every one I'm lagging about like crazy anyone else finding this? The demo was fine.

I've haven't noticed any lag yet , the kills feel easier then MW2 you dont have to empty a whole clip into them before they die.
