Are there any PC players on here? I am mostly on the Xbox 360 version but my old uni friends have decided to go for the PC version so I got a cheap copy and I have it running on my hardcore gaming laptop (admittedly everything is turned down)

The first thing I notice is that as with the 360 version team play is key and we keep getting into teams of COD players as they are all f**king Recon and don't take the points.

I love the in-game AI banter, it's much better than in BC and amongst all the swearing it's quite informative. It's entertaining enough that I'm happy to continue with my voice comms set to 'friends only.'

Recon and Support were my favourite classes in BC and I would say the equivalents are in this, so Recon and Medic. Since they've given the Recon class the Mortar Strike, the Support had this in BC, and with the various Specialisations, Recon really is a potent one man army, especially when you unleash the M95 and I haven't unlocked the magnum ammo yet. I do play with the other classes though, as it's more rewarding to do so in this one compared to BC.

Must admit yesterday (sorry to Rossco UK, I seriously didnt see your message last night.) I was playing alone in evening and it was painful. I just imagined a new person walking straight into this game with Level 25 G3 + magnum bullet perk swines, Medic spam or Recon spam, even I was at breaking point on my lonesome not helping that I couldnt even get into a squad on my side. So I ventured on and ended up with no.1 on my team but we didnt win. I was defending the FACE off those M-Coms and it felt like I was the only one doing it, more than likely because I probably was the only one doing it.
At the end on Port Valdez it was best summed up by this.
M-Com (in house next to chopper) is armed, I go over get killed by the guy, I see the guy getting killed by my team mate great stuff.......wait...why you not going to M-Com????
HOLY **** he's running for the chopper and not F***ING disarming the station!!!!!!
I seriously could have broke my pad in half.
Soon as few friends came on I was rescued and then spent most of the night and early morning playing, winning and most of all enjoying it. Unlocked all Assault and Engineer kits, only have Medic and Recon to spam up now.

In a few weeks it'll be much better, when all the kids have gone back to MW2.

Just had a round of 2100 points which is probably my best yet. I like being Recon more but I perform alot better at Assault so I'm sticking to that right now. Just need to unlock some more cool stuff hopefully.

Playing Conquest only, seems the most fun and the most like Domination in COD which is what I stuck to with that game.

How do you unlock the Specialization slots?

I am totally loving this now! Just shot a helicopter outta the sky in one shot with a tank. It was awesome. Got like 500 points in a go for it too.

My favourite moment so far is sniping the pesky pilot of a chopper who'd been causing our team no end of grief then watching it come hurtling and spinning out of control before crashing into flames just a few feet from where I stood. It was straight out of a Hollywood movie.

EA Servers for the win! Just lost 4000 XP from a match I was the best player in.

The game has been out nearly a fortnight, this just isn't acceptable.

Yeah we had one of those moments 2 day ago, everyone back to menu and a bit of stunned silence broken by the first man to say,,, "They stole my points!"

The game is mega, they have the PC feel down to a tee, and I really belive the game might have a long shelf life as long as:

1.) They improve the server infra

2.) DLC remains free (Like the 2 maps on 30/3)

It's a great game, so I hope they do this.

Oh don't get me wrong Cap, the game is one of the best online shooters I've ever played, but last night the lag was unplayable for all of us.

They took the servers down last weekend PRIME TIME UK time to fix these issues and to be honest, the rubberbanding is worse than ever in the evenings and today I lose my 4000 points to a server failure.

Jeff was just booted back to the dashboard last night in the middle of a game, and this has happened to us all at some point, loading...loading...DASHBOARD. Something I've not experieced with any other game.

They have to sort these issues out or they'll lose people fast. We were all pissed off last night, and it just sours the experience if it happens this often.

Last night was LOL. I died and the guy who shot me died so had that map overview screen and could see somebody in a jeep driving along the pipes being chased by a helicopter. I just had to stop and take in the pure comedy - love this game!

Was good playing with you guys - sorry I legged it, Cap and Dots weren't taking it at all seriously!!XD
