Yeah, i know what you mean. In Fifa 10, when a player get a yellow for barely anything, then you'd get, "he's lucky he isn't going off !". After a few games the commentary is a nice change...

Chipped penalties are nothing new, they were in FIFA 10 and 09 if I remember correctly

After all the games i've played on both of them, i never noticed !They added the penalty instructions on the right, when taking a penalty in this version...

This is really quite good, am I assuming that this will have much less content than FIFA 2010, i.e clubs & leagues?

I had a look around, doesn't seem to be any clubs or other option than the ones on the demo title screen ? Other than World Cup, there's qualifications for the teams, the road to S Africa. Relive the excitement.
I suppose if they'd have left in the Clubs, they find it hard to justify Fifa 11 !? The only thing that's bothering me with this game is, it's gonna be nearly double the cost of what i paid for Fifa 10. Hopefully, there's some bargins just after release or will the World Cup keep the price up..?

Will be getting this as I'm a massive football fan and buy all the football games regardless if they are good or bad.

They fixed the goalie rushing out from fifa 10 and easily exploited to the chip. But for the first time in a Fifa game, I got a penalty given against me for an A button challenge. Usually in a Fifa game the only way to concede a penalty is through sliding.

Anyway shame it doesn't have 10 vs 10 though.

Had a quick go and it does seem like an improvement over 10, so maybe there will be a game to properly catch that international feel like ISS Deluxe did on the SNES.

Would still be better if there was a J League edition though.

I don't know. I just have a devotion to PES. Every year they say this will be the true PES of this generation and I believe them like a sucker, and it turns out to be a mess. I really used to enjoy the PES series on the PS2 and Xbox 1.

It's kinda ludicrous to have a "devotion" to a game series, especially if it lets you down so often.

Why not wait til it's cheap at least?

I've lost my PES devotion but still find myself occasionally pressing old PES buttons on FIFA thru 'finger muscle memory'. Not going back unless PES retakes the crown.

This plays a really nice game of footy, seems much tighter and harder to score, thru balls seem toned down but not impossible and it really pays to slow it down with Spain and wait for runners to pick your passes.

Not going to call it a flaw yet but have noticed that a big hoof with B button upfield does often result in a defence splitting killer pass.

Not sure if anyones noticed but if you go back to FIFA 10 and change the setting "Game Speed" to "fast" it makes it play a lot more like this new game. Not quite as fluid but feels more like this demo.

I just find it for too easy to score from a cross with a header, anyone else discovered this?.

I think it may be the new lob for this game...
