So I'll be able to avoid Zombie mode. For me that's a **** sandwich of epic proportions. I quit every time that comes up. Wish I could just choose races most of the time.

Is anyone else tiring of this game ever so slightly but quicker than they thought they would? Thank **** they didn't include the Flood.

Been forcing myself to play online recently for achievments...

Not like I'm a big fan of online multiplayer in any FPS game, but I have to say infection is enjoyable even to me.

Its the best mode by miles IMO.

I cant remember off-hand but you can do it from the fire-fight menu. I think I pressed start from there and then went to my local files. As I said cant remember but all the fire-fight variants are tweaking the menu options you already have in front of you for maximum points.

well, i've downloaded the "NZI ZOMBIES" firefight but it just doesn't show up in Firefight->Local Files. is this a bug?

also, how come i don't get any credit points apart from 50 for game completion if i play alone in Firefight?

In regards to the Firefight variant you downloaded, I'm pretty sure there's been a problem with Local Files since day 1. Whenever I go to my local files, I can see the number of screenshots I've taken and the number of variant maps I've downloaded but they're greyed out, and only the videos are available.

As for earning credits playing Firefight on your own, you need to play Matchmaking Firefight Score Attack where you'll earn 1000-1200 credits per game, more when fulfilling challenges and commendation targets.

If you're good at multiplayer, then that's your best bet - especially Rumble Pit. Otherwise Matchmaking Firefight Score Attack.

Also, depending on what commendments you've earned, there are several cheap and boring tricks in the Campaign where you can milk credits by repeatedly reverting to a previous checkpoint. Youtube is your friend for these.

Mainly multi player, its a slow process. It's a big cr leap to captain but not to bad after for awhile.

Score Attack > Gruntpocalypse > Profit.

If you're efficient, you can nail a game from 6-8 minutes, netting on average 1200-1300 credits (not withstanding daily firefight based challenges and commendations)
Though once you hit 'Major' rank you seem to lose your 'performance' bonus multiplier and then each completed match is about 1000-1080 credits.

The longest slugs are always leaving a grade 3 as the ranks immediately above always require twice as many credits. Here are the ranks and credits they require (the numbers in brackets indicate the number of credits needed to reach next rank):

so i take it DLC management is broken and nobody here managed to access downloaded content besides videos?

oh, and what's the point in levelling up anyway - is there anything i gain that enhances or alters my Halo experience?

No. Nothing.

No nothing really for levelling up, just the chance to have different armour that no one else has if that's your thing. I've not spent any cr on armour as it doesn't bother me, I know people who go crazy for new armour!!

It's the flaming heads I like (legendary box set I think), they stand out a mile so always like to shoot them first ha ha

Well I just finished the campaign, I'm not sure what to think of it really. I think I might of actually preferred Halo 3's. I need some hours on co-op before I fully judge that
