I think it is going to see a big drop online when cod hits. I don't see it having the replay value of the halo 3 maps.

Its frustrating that map packs are available so soon too. Forge world maps are a definate cheap way to keep player happy until the first map pack.

I still love it though.

Those are light photoshop filters though, they just make everything dulller or more colourful or black and white, the same as Halo 3.

Yeah I get you, I just wanted to clarify that you can change the look/feel of the general map with those filters and get some different "mood" to the whole thing.

To change to sunset, night etc... which would be great, I think they're better off just releasing new forge DLC. Give us say two new large locales that can house the BTB or Invasion style maps and let the forgers start dishing out the goods.

I've already seen some incredibly good forge maps that are both aesthetically pleasing and balanced enough to be credible official content. Some of which you would'nt know they were in Forge-world either.

That may not be entirely bad though as I'm not too keen on the current Halo community particularly after the Reach beta which I thought was surprisingly decent. After reading the thread on the Bungie forums when Bungie had reset the 15,000 ranks/armour there was lots of moaning and 'I'm off to CoD as soon as possible' to which I thought good riddance. I don't think online gaming is going to be flawless but I'm hoping a lot of the idiots will be leaving Reach when CoD comes out.

What's been bugging me recently is team-mates who keep shooting you to drop your shields but not kill you so anything that shoots you kills you immediately. I assume people think it's funny so that you in turn blow them away and they can then kick you out of the game. Admittedly I've been losing patience when this has been happening constantly during a game and just taking satisfaction in killing the annoying team member but I can't really see any other way of dealing with it particularly as in one game the same guy just kept shooting me the entire game.

Yeah I have seen this, pretty much did us over in a big team battle some idiots where deliberately shooting other players but not enough to get a kill and be booted but enough that it ruined the game.

Yep, its annoying, one of the many annoying things about letting kids and idiots onto the internet.

When you think about it, it might even be worthwhile increasing the price of XBOX Live to try and price the kids and idiots out of the game

I've had the same thing happen in firefight last night. It's really annoying. I usually endure it but leave negative feedback against them on the dashboard and set them as an avoided player.

It probably does no good at all other than to set my mind at rest knowing I've done the right thing but there ya go. Really MS needs method of tracking this stuff with enough video and audio evidence to prove the offenders are being morons and then swing the almighty banhammer around.

I leave negative feedback as well, it's good to hear you're doing the same as hopefully if enough people are doing so these people will get their karma.

I would guess it's fairly easy to track if they wanted to as you'd see constant amounts of small damage to another player rather than the occasional large amount of damage from an accidental rocket or grenade blast.

Have they upped the difficulty in score attack? The grenade accuracy seems insane now as Grunts seem to be able to sticky me from surprisingly large distances and given the amount of grenades they throw it makes for an easy kill. There seems to be more heavy Grunts spawning with multiple fuel rod and focus launcher Grunts in each wave.

Nice vids, was playing Multi Team yesterday with my friend and had this pic of some team work from us, this guy is shooting me in the back as I'm grav jumping to that point along with throwing grenades, as I landed I got into armour lock with grenades going off all round and my buddy comes from behind the pillar and assassinates him into heart explosion

If you check the pic it actually looks like he's stabbed in in the neck with a battle rifle lol
