It does annoy me a bit when people 'teabag' you when it's just you against a group of them even when you've just taken down three of them and one just survived to take you down with no health and shields left.
I find rank is completely irrelevent in Reach, in fact it's not unusual for the higher ranks to be fairly useless as they've been busy farming to get their rank whereas those with a lower rank may have it genuinely. I was playing Firefight with a group of three people who were all very high ranked and they were pretty rubbish at the game, they did all the usual nonsense by racing to get the target designator/sniper/rocket and using it on grunts to get the quick multikills and similar. I managed to comfortably beat them all just using my trusty DMR and not touching a power weapon which is quite satisfying.
The lack of team I guess is a given these days although it is great when you get a good team-mate, I was playing Invasion Spire and the person I was paired up and for once we actually worked together holding back to spawn each other in making it a breeze to get the objectives. The one thing the Reach community seems bad at is quitting though which I'd hoped would have improved by now, in most games someone seems to quit out early and in far too many of them a large number of people quit. It ruins the game whether you're the one losing teammates or on the other team as you generally can't get a good game. As I don't like people quitting I don't quit myself although I've never had a jackpot even when playing an entire team game with just one teammate instead of seven.

On another game we'd been brutally slaughtered by a six party team (all with the same armour, tag and icon) of Brigadiers or generals on Invasion Slayer. We left matchmaking and rejoined only to be matched up again but this time on Invasion which we expected to get hammered again on. Sure enough the entire team came straight onto us and resumed their slaughtering except they weren't keeping track of the spawns properly and two of our team (other four were randoms, no party either) slipped up and captured the control points. Surprisingly we even got the core to the evac point as the enemy team were too focussed on getting kills and not enough on protecting objectives. Even better was that they didn't manage to get past the first objective making it one of the most satisfying matches I've had.
On a different note and a different slayer game my brother and I had managed to get the core on boneyard pretty much entirely ourselves and were taking it to the evac point with just myself guarding. Things weren't looking too good as we had a tank and a warthog bearing down on us. There were a few explosions, a 'betrayal' and then all quiet until we hit the steps and a sniper took my brother out. However the sniper shots stopped allowing me to get the core up to the top. Of course I popped back into theatre to see what the heck had happened...as the tank lined up the shot that would have killed both of us, the tank's teammate in the warthog got just in the way which meant the warthog blew up and shielded us from the shot. Our Wraith was on its way to sort out the tank and fired a second after the tank but he also missed as he hit the cartwheeling warthog chassis giving the Scorpion a kill shot on the Wraith. By now the Scorpion had an open shot at us again but the warthog guy booted him (despite it not being the tank driver's fault).
Meanwhile, one of our team was crouching against the cliff with a sniper rifle which a Spartan missed and walked straight past. The Elite snuck out and mid-air assassinated him then spotted the sniper and with one quick role nipped over and assassinated him as well.
Unfortunately many more team-mates are not so great...I don't mind accidental betrayals as accidents happen but deliberate ones really annoy me. We were on the last stage of Invasion Spire and had the core down with not much time left, I was on the ground with the sniper rifle covering the Falcon which my brother was gunning in. The pilot dropped down to sensibly pick up a second gunner but our team-mates decided they wanted both gunning seats and so killed my brother to get him out the way while his partner killed another team-mate who was running for the other seat. That meant it took longer for the gunner seats to get filled and needless to say both got booted from the game, I don't like that sort of team killing anyway plus we'd pretty much lost the game from the delay.
Anyone here watch Fails of the Weak?

I do love my Halo, but as of late I'm starting to hate it.
I'm really hating the fact that on the majority of maps the sniper rifle just dominates , too many people are too good at using it and you don't have any kind of defense against it.
In a double team game you have one player who will have a weapon that can basically 1 hit kill a player 12 times in a row, whilist that player has said weapon you can't collect one for yourself to fight back.
The game designers claim it is meant to be overpowered, but I feel that any map without the sniper or maps where the ammo is very limited (powerhouse has 4 sniper bullets in a fresh gun) is much better.
They've created this amazing system where they can change all kinds things instantly, but they seldom use it bar to make some other useless playlists that they changed once every 2 months.

Snipers+Jetpacks I swear to god it should not be natural and people shouldn't be able to do it but yet there it f%£#ing is in halo reach.
Douchebags!
I reckon they should just limit user abilities with weapons like not being able to shotgun/sword out of run, throw sticky out of armour lock, snipe whilst jetpacking/invisible, there are just some spammy tactics that get abused like any other game out there.
One thing I do hate is how halo can be so predictable, powerhouse rush rockets, cage rush rockets, asylum rush snipers, this is on double team at least but I can bet its the same in other modes.

I had to switch from Bumper Jumper to Default because of the Abilities.
It's just certain maps that constantly appear in double team that frustrate, Pinnacle and Asylum (Both H2 maps) Stand out as the worst for it.
Countdown is just a sprint to the shotgun and then skulking around crouch walking

Only snag is that the pad is wired, and it's due to release at the end of Feb for those lucky enough to have pre-ordered one. Though it has been in development limbo since Jan 2010...
