I'll bear that mountain stage tip in mind. That's if I ever get to it.

I play this game with a constant grin on my face!
Even multiple deaths has me grinning because I'm normally trying something particularly dangerous just to shave a split second off my progress. The grin also gets even bigger when the dangerous stuff I try pays off! I'm there looking at the level thinking 'I reckon I can make that, do that, then that!'
Awesome stuff!!

I only started this yesterday, and I've got all the bandages in Worlds 1 to 2 so far. My OCD compels me to not carry on until I've done everything.
I am really enjoying this, as crazy as it can be at times, I feel that it's quite fair, as there's always a quick solution to a tricky stage, though timing is a huge factor in some areas. The music is tasty, even if I end up playing a stage multiple times, I just enjoy it more because I don't want to stop listening to it, the Dark levels are soooo awesome.
Defiantly the best XBLA title I've played in a while, and I am gunning for that 100% even if it mentally kills me.

Good luck with 100% on the dark worlds, some of them are totally crazy! I have just started Ch3 The Salt Factory Dark World, manI will be here forever.
Probably the best value 800 points I have ever spent on XBLA, see myself playing this game for a very long time just chipping away at it, I always want to beat my scores and any good times set.

My main problem with the Dark World levels is that you have to collect the bandages and reach Bandage Girl, which can be quite tricky. Add the Warp Zone sections and that problem increases.
Tim
is quite useful, I finished 3-6X by grabbing both keys and then using
rewind
to boost up the walls, then grabbing the plaster between the saws with another sneaky
rewind
afterwards. Some characters are better at handling levels than Meat Boy.

i just keep chipping away at this as its perfect bite sized gaming, finally unlocked 'teh internets'
level design is consistently great, really shows how flabby and soft the big 3d titles are in terms of design, the likes of Prince of Persia & Assassins Creed spring to mind.
Mario really is a strong reference point in terms of control and the ability once you know a level to barnstorm through it really quickly in a seamless run.

Finally beat this over the weekend and to say some levels were infuriating is an understatement. I enjoy challenging games but this took the piss to the point where sometimes it wasn't fun - whether that's because I suspect the game is difficult for the gratuitous sake of being difficult or down to my want of ability, I can't quite decide, I suspect a bit of both. That said, I will endeavour to slowly chip away at the Dark World stages and
bonus chapter The Cotton Alley
but, really, I can't see myself fully completing either.
Still, a good game. Cruel and unforgiving but good.

This is the first game in a long time that has me immediately replaying a level after completing it to get bandages and an A+ (mainly because my skills will have deteriorated if come back to them later).
Loving all of the nods to Canabalt, Braid and so forth too. Thanks for the soundtrack link.
