There really isn't anything quite like turning up the headphones very loud and playing this game. So enjoyable.

Still can only play I Love Rock And Roll and Imagine on pro-keys Expert though Waiting for the stand from HMV, should help a lot.

I have just had another big session on this with guitar and I'm still enjoying it. It's maybe something to do with all that content in one game. I now have over 450 tunes to pick from, which is just crazy, but it keeps the game fresh.

I also downloaded that Doors pack, (free and paid ones) and they are brillaint too. I'd imagine they would be be good on keys, but I can't wait for my 'Rockband' night a week on Saturday to try all these new tracks in a group. For the first time ever, I'm not bothering putting on Guitar Hero, as there is more than enough to last the whole night and beyond on Rock Band 3 alone.

So true. I find it harder to actually feel like I'm playing if I can't hear the music playing full blast down my ears.

I'm going for the ESIII tomorrrow as my hand is now back in the notion of being able to freely jump between chords (not playing RB for a while really does make it harder to play) and I feel I can pull the seven hours, though I'll be going on Expert Bass as I have yet to play all the songs, and it would suck to get stuck on something towards the end.

You can play the endless set list with no fail on apparently so you don't have to panic about failing a song after 7 hours

While that may be nice for some, I finished ESII on Expert Guitar only failing one song with a hand lock-up (Visions is awful) so I don't think Bass will be too demanding.

Also, I may just be able to work on getting 5* on every Expert song this way.

Just got the official RB3 Fender standard button guitar, still wish the strum was clickier but like the inbuilt cam/mic that allows auto calibration, feels nice to be bang on timing wise, the settings were quite different to what i got doing it manually.

Wireless drums to arrive in next day or so gives me a nice set-up of official gear. Know the ps3 stuff and pro gear is harder to get but had no probs getting a full xbox setup together.

The Rockband 3 setlist itself is really quite weak. I'm glad I have so much DLC to play, as I'm really not enjoying the majority of the on disc setlist as it is.

Yeah, I can't say the on disc stuff is doing much for me either, especially when most of the songs I do like have already been in Guitar Hero

QotSA have more than just No One Knows, Rammestein have better songs than Du Hast while Avenged Sevenfold just released a new album with half a dozen songs that would be great fun to play in Rock Band but we get Beast and the Harlot again?

The game is fantastic though, I'm loving the whole career setup this time around. While it's still essentially playing setlists of songs it somehow feels far less repetitive than ever before. I just need to buy some MS points and get RB2/Lego imported and this will be near impossible to put down

I'm the same in that most of the songs I like (Du Hast, Beast and the Harlot, In The Meantime) have already been in Guitar Hero.

I'm find a lot of the song choices are a bit puzzling. Take Filter, "Hey Man Nice Shot". Great band with four albums to pick from. What do they do? Take a song from their worst album thats awful to play and has already been in Guitar Hero. Stupid decision.

Most of the 70's stuff does very little for me too (apart from the Doors), and it's quite heavy on it

On a more upbeat note, the Doors DLC is amazing. I don't even have the keys and I love it!

Where did you order from? I'm still waiting for mine to get shipped and I don't know if I can be arsed waiting much longer to get my hands on one.

Huzzah. PS3 export key works now. A bargain for 95p.

How is the Xbox one 800 points? Isn't that like ?6.50?

Sorry to put a downer on this, but I understand that the rankings are currently all over the place, I've seen some pictures online where people are below others despite having a higher score. Also I doubt I'm number 15 at King George on Pro Drums on a sightread.

Just spent the last 45 minutes going though all my songs. 446 in total!!

There's stuff there I'd forgotten I'd bought and never played!! God bless the new system for browsing your content!
