Did some remote races today on some of my accounts, mainly to get my main to Lv 34 on B spec. One more level and I get my shiny new Red Bull X2010!

Have had a few online races recently which included a couple of the glitch races. To be honest I am not too bothered if they fix it sooner rather than later, though the credits were useful (topped me out at 20 million though).

Someone sent my a 0 mile GT Academy GT-R which I repainted in its original colour (just as well gifted cars come with the Paint Chip of their original colour). It does have an oil change and was used online last night but still came with 0 miles. It is (like the Special Edition GT Academy GT-R from the Time Trial), just a standard GT-R specV.

Sent a Ticket 1000 to my main account last night to see what I could get. I eventually accepted... a '99 Insight in Blue! I've wanted a low mileage one for a while (for some obscure reason).

Next project is a fully upgraded Citroen 2CV. I think it manages to hit the dizzy heights of around 50 HP!

I noticed something odd - one of the seasonals is on a course named Mt. Aso - this caught my attention as it is a real location in Japan (volcano on Kyushu) ut I hadn't seen it anywhere else. Just had a look through all the circuits in practice mode and.. it's not there!

Does this mean seasonal events can be on unique one off tracks? Or am I missing something obvious?

Mt Aso is one of the themes you can choose when using the course generator.
theres been a few seasonals now using tracks made from that instead of normal courses.

It seems as if a new version of GT5 is available (though not in the UK yet) to fix the glitch on SSR7 that people have been exploiting.

There is a new Japanese '80's Festival Seasonal available. My '89 Fairlady Z on RogsR34UK1 is a prime candidate for an easy victory in this.

If anyone wants to see a Gold Chrome car first hand. I have a mildly tuned GT-R specV with Racing Softs shared on RogsR34UK. I bought it specifically for that! If anyone needs any more Gold Chrome I am sure it can be arranged in the next day or two.

My Vibrant Red GT Academy (stock) GT-R specV is now safely on my three main accounts.

Yeah, just logged in to find two patches waiting - one for PSN and one for GT5. The GT5 one is just for that glitch but in addition to the seasonal updates they have also updated the Remote Race events.

There is a brand new selection but all of them are 20 minuters, no short ones at all.

edit - still no bonus races this time but if I had to guess I would say PDI are trying to shift people's priorities into doing the B spec stuff right now - if the bonus races were still up we'd probably still be overlooking the potential xp gain in remote racing.

There is still no sign of an update for the UK. I think the Americans are probably updated by now.

I have pretty much standardised on the 20 minutes races as they are the best for the Experience. Only another 2 million odd Experience points before I get the X2010. Ought to take a few races. Maybe it is time to share my other two highest level drivers so that I can maximise the experience from the races. I ought to get one of my sub-accounts into Endurance territory for B spec before too long. I know my American account is close anyway!

Sorry, I have not been running any other member's drivers as I have been trying to get RogsR34Uk to Lv 35 B spec. I use the 6 drivers from there and lower level ones from some other accounts. I reached Lv 35 a little while ago and now have about 200K towards Lv 36. The best experience is to be gained from a top three finish as the experience is more than the credits. This is the rewards for a Podium finish with 16 racing (I always have 16 racers) showing Credits/Experience...

I now have my nice shiny new Red Bull liveried X2010, which means I have an unused example of all three X2010's and three used ones as well which I use!! In the Carbon in an online session the other night and reducing downforce to minimum at one end and setting the other end proportionately I was able to see 295 mph on the straights at Daytona Oval.

Who is still actually playing GT5 here, so I know whose drivers I can use for future Remote Races.

I'm trying to spread my usage between all the people I can, used yours for a couple Scythe and your guy was in the lead for 11 of the 12 laps (or whatever it was) and the lost out to Joe right at the end.

I think ur drivers lapped mine in the race I did! Haven't done much bspec.as you can see by my levels but if u can race either it will be appreciated! SiCh_1 btw!

I'll add you Scythe n do some remotes with yr B-Spec guy. I did some B-spec with some other peoples drivers. I need to complete the Nascar races n get to the Dream car challenge as I want that Ltd GT Ford GT. Still Savin up for a Lexus LFA.

Community page, icon at the bottom. Once in you just click on the + icon to add drivers from your friend list, and then 'start race'
