I only have the endurance series races to go now. Until they update it so that I can save in-race I'm giving them a miss. I don't have nine hours to waste in one sitting unfortunately.

So what's the deal with these Academy cars? I did the S licences to all golds tonight and got gifted a GTR Academy (Type V or whatever it is). I thought this was the one that was only awarded for the time trial challenge - is it different? I see Bassman talking about an Academy 350Z as well. Confused.

There are three GT Academy cars.

The two GT-R specV's are basically stock with a different livery. The S Licence All Gold car comes in the standard specV colours. I was Gifted a Red one. The Time Trial one is pretty much the same car, but in Stealth livery.

The last GT Academy car can only be obtained from a Lv 12 Ticket (easily, at any rate, as I assume it can be obtained from a Ticket 1000). The car is a tuned Nissan 370Z which comes in the same colours as the Premium Nissan Fairlady Z (Z34) '08. This is a tuner car. It has 382 HP after an Oil Change and when fully broken in should have about 393 HP. The car has adhustable aerodynamics front and rear.

Cheers for the info. I have a Lv 12 ticket, I sent it to my other account so I can save and retry.

First attempt got a Ferrari 430 which I am happy to keep, so I went to send it back to my main account and was told I had reached my daily limit for sending. How is that possible? I haven't logged on with my 2nd account for a week or so.

Are you blocked from sending if you receive items too?

You can only Gift one Car (under a million credits) or Car/Level Ticket on one PS3 a day, plus five Paint Chips and/or Car Upgrade items.

would anyone be kind enough to gift me some cars. i have just started the game on the beginer tracks so just need some for that. i am not sure what cars to get and what upgrades to win the races.

If you are just starting out you don't even need a car (except for the one they make you buy, which you don't need to use) - license tests -> special events and back again will carry you way up the levels, earn you lots of cash and win you lots of good cars.

The seasonals have been updated, but it's another crappy one - USA pick-ups. Bring back the bonus races! My B-spec will soon be higher than my A-spec

My B spec is higher now. A spec is 34 and my B spec is now Lv 36! On my American Account (RogsR34US) my A spec is Lv 28 (mostly from the early decent Seasonals) and my B spec is Lv 33 (I am aiming for Lv 35 before too long).

Gave up on an online session with someone from another Forum. I accidentally hit someone after getting out of shape on a corner and apologised (though they may not have had a headset. Last lap they deliberately drive head on into me. As it was late and I was tired I decided to call it a night, even though it was only the second race. Its not even as if they were driving well! The joys of an open lobby I suppose.

If anyone wants to borrow a 180 mph fully modded Truck (Toyota Tacoma), I will be swapping if for my Gold GT-R SpecV. The Truck has 541 HP and weighs in at under 1400 Kg. PP is I think 543 which is below the "Limit" for the series. It is there now.

I finally got to level 30 on A-spec and so I could try out the X2010 challenge. What a nightmare. I couldn't complete two laps of the circuit, and even on the rare occasions where I completed one lap my time was about 6 or 7 seconds to slow to make the bronze time (and this in a car which seems to only have two speeds - stopped and bloody fast).

This game can be brutally hard at times!

I gave up on that challenge when I was disqualified before leaving the pits!

I have an X2010 shared on RogsR34UK2 if anyone wants to try one out (that doesn't already have one).

Discovered the Tacoma had Sports Hards (not good!) so I remedied the situation by fitting Racing Softs and also fully upgrading it (there were parts missing before) and reducing power to give the limit of 550 PP. It can still bite you if you are not wary of it. It exceeded 180 mph (stock gearbox though a custom one is there for a swap if necessary) when I did the 'Ring race. Time was 7:30, which is not too bad for a Truck! For your 7:30 you win 110K (or so), so pretty decent money. A million an hour for those so inclined!

I'll do a remote race or two this afternoon, gonna try and finish NASCAR as I failed the B-Spec Dream car races in my Lamborghini Gallardo. Want to save for an Enzo too. Nearly have enough cash. I'll try out the X2010 too.

I ran about 6 remote races this afternoon, tried to chop and change the drivers I used (except for Fuddle's who I used every time because he is still using mine regularly!). I stayed away from those which had a lot of yellow lights, as it looks like the owners don't play and thus don't receive the winnings.

RagingAvatar (I forgot who that is on here) - all your drivers are maxed out on rewards and can't be used until you clear them.

Found some settings for the Tacoma. Still a bit inclined to spin but it does seem to improves things a little. I'll adjust the shared truck now.
