all fairly crap really.... if anyone has the US version without the bonus disc I am more than happy to swop them over if someone wants it so much 8)

I am aware that I am possible showing my ignorance when it comes to Mario Kart, but has it always been possible to steal balloons from other players in balloon battle mode?

The wife managed it twice last night to win a game and I dont remember seeing it before.

Still havn't recieved my Jap Copy from Goblin Games yet and have finally given up (it's now been 20 days since i ordered ). Been trying to ring them all morning to cancel my order but no answer ft:
Does anyone know what the best time to ring them is ? do they even answer the phones anymore ?

It took me about two days to get through to them mate, but I think I rang them when their line opened. I get the feeling that even though you get the "ringing" noise, it's actually busy.

Nope. The stealing of items is new to DD if you ignore the ghost item in previous versions .

You can steal opponents items during a race using mushrooms/stars and this extends itself to the battle modes - you can steal oppositions ballons using mushrooms/stars.

What is it with videogames - they're like bloody buses sometimes.

Last month F-Zero GX, Soul Calibur 2 and Mario Golf all arrived on the same day......... walked downstairs this morning to find Mario Kart, Prince of Persia, Mario Party 5 and the Zelda 5 game bonus disc posted through my letterbox.

Only played Mario Kart thus far, have to admit my first impression was 'this is crap, they've completely taken the essence away' but it's growing on me somewhat and expect it's a matter of familiararity.

I in a constant games drought atm but theres more and more stuff I want...it's gonna get incredibly expensive :S
